Reasonably priced and professionally managed business. The flexibility and support offered by Atkins is second to none. Adam and Dean run a great operation, Susanna in the office is available for any queries no matter how small and we had Marcus and Quinton who we couldn’t have asked anymore of for the unload in Launceston. These guys worked their guts out! We cannot recommend Atkins enough.

Margy Maycock

I previously had really bad experience with a removal company. Atkins removals was first rate in being reliable, efficient in packing, helpful, flexible, demonstrating care of items moved. I would highly recommend this company.

Daniel Rolf

We’d like to thank the Atkins team for their excellent and friendly service in packup, pickup, storage and delivery for our interstate move. Everything went according to plan and our goods arrived in perfect condition. We would happily recommend Atkins to anyone moving interstate.

Mark Macleod

The best removalist you could ever use. Friendly Helpful on time and everything as it was. Simply the best

Diana K

We were moving from the South Coast of NSW to Hobart. Pretty giant and tough move! They came to pick everything up on time (one of their partner removalist companies on the South Coast) packed everything so tightly to the roof and filled in all the gaps with thick moving blankets. Had boxes for our loose stuff (whoa) and a tv box for our tv!? It was friggin amazing. They covered our couch and mattresses with thick plastic protectors, without an extra cost. The pick up was so splendid and quick. We were absolutely amazed. They kept us in a loop and let us know if we could fit more based on our original box number, as we were using boxes that were smaller than the ones quoted. On delivery, we had the shipping container delivered to a storage unit, where they again were on the dot on time, I was so beyond pleasantly surprised It took about 10 days for it to be delivered, which worked for us as we didn't have a place for it yet and we were driving all the way down and getting on the spirit of tasmania! Great service! Super happy!

Mobile Ministry

The two Atkins workers were efficient, polite, careful, thorough and privacy conscious, respectful of our home and preferences. The management of the move by Atkins base staff was thorough and cooperative and we thought the price was appropriate for what we wanted done. We are thoroughly satisfied!!

Lauren K

Highly recommended. The staffs were friendly and professional. All my belongings were nicely stocked in the truck with clean blankets. The staff were cautious and tried not to touch the walls with a trolley. Nothing was damaged and I’m very satisfied with the service.

Tracey Killen

Great service. Friendly staff.Small size removal, no worries. Be realistic and get other quotes. Ask friends who they use. If you ask me I will say that Atkins removals have never let me down. I have used them three times and will use them again.

I have used Atkins Removals three times now and they have been amazing each time. Marcus has been at all of these moves and is a delight. He gets the job done quickly and without any fuss. Price was great and easily booked in via email. Excellent service across the board.

Shari Boyd

Marcus & Zac were amazing with my move in June, I would recommend them to anyone and ask for them both if I had to do it again. Could not fault the great service. Thank You so much guys. I have again had to move now 7 weeks later in July, Jai & Ryleigh were as great as the first time I have to do it, once again amazing service by all and once again I could not fault the service provided. Thank You so much guys.

Karen GRIFFITHS

Moving is never a fun job but the Atkins crew who recently helped me move were fabulous. The guys who packed up the house and shed did a great job. The 2 who unpacked at the other end were amazing. Thanks go out to Marcus especially, as he did both ends and took care of my things as the driver. Cheers guys

David McLean

Janet Richardson

The crew at Atkins Removals were polite, helpful, considerate and took excellent care of my furniture particularly during drop off when the two men had to negotiate my bulky furniture along a narrow hallway. Moving house can be very stressful but Dean, the Operations Manager or Bronwyn in the front office were always available to answer my questions. Atkins Removals is the best removal company I’ve used to date and I’ve used many.

Our furniture turned up on time and in good condition and the driver and his coworker were really helpful, good workers and friendly, I am very happy with the service, and the attitude of the two men who delivered the furniture to us, and I would recommend this company to anyone who is moving.

CM Boyd

We were very impressed with the staff at both ends for our interstate move. All our belongings were handled with care and arrived safely. We will definitely be using Atkins again for any future moves.

Gerry Depuit

First class service from the original quotation to the actual pick up. The pick up was awesome and the 2 employees were very professional exceeding all expectations. As we viewed the loaded container it seemed like a very well planned mosaic. Every thing snug and secure. Thanks men. Highly recommended.

Alexandria Garlan

We contacted Atkins and a few other Removalists for quotes early in the year and got wildly different pricing for our move from Melbourne to Hobart. We went with Atkins because of their reviews online and their detailed quote. Everyone we spoke to at Atkins was professional and helpful, if we ever had a question we just called and they were very responsive. We decided to bring our moving date forward at the last minute and they were extremely accommodating. Everything arrived the day they said it would in excellent condition. We cannot recommend the team at Atkins more highly.

Rob

The team from Atkins Removals were fantastic for moving our belongings from Brisbane to Tasmania. Great communication, delivery and pick up organisation from Dean. On our delivery date Marcus and his two young lads were professional, friendly and respectful of our home and belongings. They worked hard and were very organised in doing so. I can’t thank Atkins Removals enough. Top job???? R&N

Joshua

These guys are awesome! The whole process start to finish was very easy. From getting a quote to getting the boxes picked up the following week. Cannot fault anything. Luis & Harrison came and collected our boxes, both of them were very friendly and was a great experience. We were sending boxes from Devonport to Fremantle, expecting 2 weeks or more. They were delivered in 6 business days. Which was unbelievable! Everything in the condition we sent it in. Would highly recommend these guys for your local or interstate moves! *photo of boxes at destination* Thankyou Atkins Removals & team

Sarah Martin

Moved from Launceston to Melbourne in the week before Christmas. Having never used a moving company before I had lots of questions, which were always answered very professionally and courteously. I spoke to at least 3 or 4 different staff over several weeks and every one of them was friendly and helpful. My boxes were delivered to Melbourne in the expected timeframe (a little delay due to the Christmas break, which I was told about in advance and was fine with) and everything was in perfect condition.

Ann Walker

We have just had our iron-frame piano picked up and delivered to our new home. Never an easy task but ours was more complicated as our new driveway was not completed in time!! Rick & Harrison were awesome!! No complaints just plenty of problem solving to achieve a great result!! All conversations over the past weeks with Atkins staff have been equally great!!! We highly recommend this company and will use again if need be. Thanks for the great work and positive attitudes!!!!!!

We had an excellent experience with Atkins Removals. This has been our first move interstate, and we were expecting it to be a long, drawn out process. We booked our belongings to be picked up a week before our move-in date, as we were advised that it would likely be a 7-14 day interlude between pickup and delivery due to shipping from Melbourne to Tasmania. Our belongings were picked up on Monday, and in Tasmania by Wednesday the same week! A happy surprise, and one less stress during a challenging transition. We have been impressed with the communication and professionalism we experienced with Atkins. Susanna, Dean and the team were helpful and answered or myriad of questions, including re-writing a quote for us multiple times as we adjusted the amount of belongings we wanted to take with us. Their price range was competitive with other removalists, and the family-owned vibe ended up being the deciding factor for us. The delivery guys were great, did an excellent job and handled our property with care. Very quick and efficient. All in all, my family would recommend Atkins Removals, and will happily use their services again in the future!

Joanne Jacobs

I can't speak highly enough of Atkins. They were universally kind and accommodating at all times. I moved from regional NSW to Launceston, and the entire experience was excellent. The teams were fast and efficient, they even made sure they used paths, rather than walking across grass, to protect my floors. There was care taken at both ends of the move, and not a mark was found on any wall or floor, following moving in. Remarkable! After delivery, the boxes were collected within 24 hours of the request to pick up. The admin staff were also kind and really cared for me as a customer. I have moved many times over many years and Atkins was by far the best removal that I have ever experienced.

Heidi Blizard

Yesterday 29 Nov 2024, the Atkins crew relocated our work office to new temporary location, we had per packed everything and marked where it was to go to. Having 2 different locations could have lead to a disaster, but everything was delivered exactly as planned. The guys didn’t stop and nothing was a problem or to difficult to work out. Great job guys looking forward to working with you guys again soon. Scott can be proud of his team, professional, polite, respectful, working hard as a team, helping each other and no standing around smoking or checking phones. Cheers

Atkins were the cheapest of many quotes I received. They were very friendly and professional to deal with. They kept me updated on the slight delays due to the wild weather on the east coast. Atkins moved us from our Riverside home in July and looked after our contents in storage for three months until we settled on a place in Melbourne. The team did a fantastic job of moving our furniture - not an easy job from a two-storey home with an exceptionally steep driveway! The team did an excellent job packing the two containers so that everything arrived in perfect condition. Their contractors in Melbourne were also fabulous so we are very happy customers!

Sue Walkom

Marcus and Zac were so kind, efficient, and careful. Thank you both very much for helping me settle in - no scratches on the walls, no breakages - and lovely workers. Thank you so much.

Jonathan Dough Morgan

They coordinated movers to pick up our things in Queensland. They had a different team unpack our things into their storage and then pack into another truck for delivery. They had a third team which due to the hill had to deliver our things from a large truck to a small truck to get up the hill . They were helpful and informative the entire move. For moving my things around the total of 4 times there was minimal issues. A few feet from IKEA items fell off and were lost but that's all easily replaceable. Considering the amount moved and the stairs they had to climb at the final destination they only bumped a door frame once. I've moved yearly for close to a decade and this was the most impressive team to work with. Thanks for getting our family into our new home just 3 days before Christmas! Everyone was awesome, thanks for everything and a very big Merry Christmas to Scott and your whole team! Cheers!

Winnie Njuguna
