From the initial contact with Glen, the excellent organisation by Alex, to the physical stuff done by Travis, Jordan and Emma, and finally, the delivery in Queensland, everything ran according to plan. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, courteous, and professional. Travis did an amazing job of assessing the load and packing the container. Emma and Jordan made sure that everything was properly packaged and documented. A great team that I hope I have the pleasure of meeting again for the second load in Jan 2023. Highly recommended.

Nothing broken and no problem to change delivery dates at the last moment due to building/renovation on the new property incomplete. I had a large move with complicated requirements. Ive had other removalists move smaller items into the property that I was scared in how they were going to move everything down in a tight townhouse. And I was left with total confidence in the the whole team who moved everything with care but with total efficiency!! We had Dawson Moving & Storage move our home from Knoxfield to Mount Martha and had such a great experience. It was our first time using movers and they were helpful from beginning to end. Dawson is moving us and also storing our excess furniture as part of the 'de-clutter' process prior to our big move. A few days ago, I somehow managed to lose my car keys and the spare set had gone off to Dawson's storage. I phoned up and explained my problem and told them where I thought the spare set was located. In less than a day they had not only found the keys but also had them delivered to my home. They were super friendly, and even more importantly, super helpful. Thanks for your responsiveness and efforts to help me in making our big move as smooth as possible! You guys are awesome. January 2017 update: Now that we have completed our move I thought I should update my post. Our move was flawless, the guys who moved our household items were careful, super efficient and considerate. Today, the came round to collect the empty boxes so that they can be used by another customer later. No additional charge. Once again, a heart-felt thank-you. You couldn't have happier customers.

TLDR; Would highly recommend and will definitely use again next move! Do yourself a favour and just use these guys. We moved during the floods which cut off the North Richmond bridge and was a difficult time for everyone. Dawson's were very responsive, understanding and clear in their communications which went a long way removing the stress and putting our minds at ease. Mieke from Dawsons kept us updated throughout so it was one less thing to worry about with every other moving-related task proving difficult to arrange. The guys themselves turned up right on time and nothing was too much to ask. They were very careful with our valuable/sentimental items, and helped pack and move our more difficult items such as out plants w/o fuss. Everything was wrapped in plastic, w/ additional boxes/paper offered freely as required. Cartons for TVs etc were also offered and I believe they provide boxes freely as part of the move although we didn't require these. They were clearly very experienced, handling other difficult items like glass-doored cabinets, and collapsible tables with care and refrained from taping wooden furniture as others have done (ruining the varnish!). We had somewhat tricky access both sides an they were very conscious of the truck and any potential damage to driveways from scraping etc - again demonstrating the care, experience and professionalism. Guys were friendly, but focused on getting the job done. They themselves even spoke glowingly of Dawson's and the pride and service-driven culture they promote and demand from their team. All round great experience!

Today the guys from Dawson Storage and Removals delivered all our belongings which have been stored for 6 months. When they arrived we had some final work being done and the house was not ideal to receive goods. I showed Phil where to leave the load of stuff that he was lugging, only to find our carpenter working in that spot. I was stressed and felt bad for Phil, because he had to move it somewhere else. I apologized to him, he could see I was stressing, his response was absolutely wonderful, he said its alright love, this is me job, I can more it as many times as you want me too. I contacted Alex with Dawson to help move my daughter from Victoria to WA. Alex was back with a quote very quickly, in fact days faster than any of the other movers I contacted. During our discussion I found that she could also help ship my daughters car and her cat. Again prompt quotes and excellent communication won the day. The shipment was picked up and delivered well under the proposed time. After a number of issues on my end with the cat and the car both were shipped and delivered without issue.
