We bought our dream couch for our new home without checking if it would fit up our stairs (it didn't!) Our original moving company washed their hands of it so we called Lifeline Movers. The same day they were at our place assessing the site for a balcony lift and less than 24 hours later they were on-site with a lift and a team, bringing our couch over a second story balcony. Affordable prices, finished the move within an hour, with no problems whatsoever, and the removalists were very professional. They were about 30 mins late, but they warned me in advance, so I didn't mind at all - it happens sometimes. They also gave me a lift to my new place, since I don't have a car - very much appreciated.

I was really impressed with the service Lifeline Movers provided. The 2 men, Jeet and Jot, were courteous and very professional. They took great care handling my possessions and carefully secured them for transportation. They were careful drivers and at no point was I concerned about my furniture in the back of the truck. They had a plan of how to pack and carried this out in a timely manner. On top of this the cost was very reasonable. I'll definitely use them again. Thanks, chaps.

I used this packing and moving service for my recent move, and while the team was friendly and efficient, there were some downsides. The truck they provided wasn't large enough to fit all my belongings, and as a result, they had to do several trips and a significant portion of my items were left unpacked and behind. While this was a bit frustrating, I appreciated their positive attitude and hard work in the face of the challenges. If they can address the space issue, I would consider using their services again for their friendly and efficient staff.

Hired this company to help move some heavy items from the garage to a top floor unit. The team that turned up were very prompt and helpful. However, the quote from Jack and the agreed price kept varying. Call out fee was quoted at 3 hours which I presumed included travel (no mention that it didn't). They were there an hour and on the morning of the work I was then advised of a surcharge of 1 hour for stairs. My expectation was that this would cost $500 - but I was asked to initially pay $700 because 'travel was on top'. After some dispute, it was reduced to $600. I don't mind paying so long as everything is clear up front but clearly in this case it wasn't and it proved for an awkward discussion with the movers who turned up. Please be clear about whether the call out fee includes travel.

Very mixed experience. The men who did the work were very polite and courteous. They were decent people. They also took care with our belongings which is critical. However, the owner never told me there was an option for a larger truck, he just sent them in a truck far too small for our house (I told him the size of it). They were unable to pack our things in 3 trips. This added a lot of expense to the bill. Additionally, the removalists clearly lacked a lot of training. They packed each load 50-60% full - they didn't know how to pack properly and utilise the space on top. In the end, we had to take 10 loads ourselves with a ute. The removalists were also very slow. Like painfully slow. We have moved many times so we have a good idea of what constitutes best practice in this industry and these guys were very under-trained. Again - they were lovely people which is important when you're trusting your valuable things to strangers, but you also need to find a balance with professionalism. Lastly, expect a lot of additional charges like for stairs! They mention this on the quote but wont tell you if you will be liable for it until they get there.

Large ceramic pots broken by poor handling practices. Heavy chiminea fire pot not secured and laid onto the pots causing breakage. Argument ensured with owner of company, quite heated, with no responsibility accepted at all. Will not use again and will not recommend to others.

Found them via Muval and the price given from Muval was $140 per hour, and $70 show up/ per trip. Minimum 2.5hours. Didn't like the difference in price and called Lifeline Movers without Muval and the guy gave me a higher price than their website and Gumtree post they have, probably just because i turned Muval down. Then charged his extra for flight of stairs, but would be a price between this and that, which i didn't mind but not specified the price on his text. Please avoid for obvious reasons of not being trustworthy and changing prices as they go, even if they post other things on their website and gumtree ad.

This company treated my daughter and her housemate with complete disdain and behaved in an incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Refusing to move a seconds load even after being paid to do so. Also have yet to receive a receipt for this disgraceful excuse for a removal job! Not happy and will be taking this complaint further!

I regret using their service. They asked me to "move" glass tables and the TV myself. They scratched my Wight goods and later, after they made me pay before completing the delivery, I found one of my dining chairs was damaged. The good reviews were so misleading.

Strongly advise against using this bunch of scammers - the charges are simply ridiculous + poor customer service over the phone and in-person They charge for minimum 2 hours ($85/hour), i.e you will still be charged $170 minimum even if everything is moved within 20 minutes. Nearly $50 for fuel levy (when it was just a 10 minute drive) Stairs was charged for additionally as well, but I don't think ~$70 was fair for just 2 flights of stairs, and I have nothing as heavy as a fridge to be moved Oh and don't forget the 10% GST as well :)

I feel I must convey what poor customer service I received during my recent move, not only did myself & my friend do most of the moving of furniture & boxes, but when the men smashed my $251.00 glass top table, they told me to my face that it was my fault & when I spoke with their supervisor to discuss insurance, his response was that if I was to proceed with an insurance claim it would be rejected being under $1,000, the removalists spent more than 30 mins sweeping broken glass & then had the nerve to charge me extra & ask for me to take most items in my friends ute, I mean, c'mon !!!, who are the removalists here?, they had absolutely no professionalism, NO personal hygiene & were EXTREMELY slow, spoke very little English, did not take instructions & were very inefficient, with the loss of my $251.00 table & the cost for their time cost me almost $1,000 with a "good will gesture" of deducting $100 from the charge, unbelievable !!!. If you value your precious items or ANYTHING breakable & seek good customer service DO NOT HIRE Lifeline Movers !!!, you will be wildly disappointed !!, save your money for a removalist who take care of their customers & are only too happy to move your belongings, moving house is extremely stressful & based on my experience, I'm one step away from a complete meltdown.

Absolute disgraceful human beings. Do not trust this company, unless you want your items damaged and them to walk away from a job. Not only did they rock up to my house 4 hours late, they were very careless in their actions. They have left a HUGE 2 foot scratch in my hardwood floors (see pictures), put a hole in the wall, scratched my coffee table and broke the bin. When I confronted them about the scratch they denied it. Said it couldn't possibly be them even though I WATCHED one of them drag the couch from the wall across the floor. They continued to deny they could have done it and one in particular got very angry towards me. Now Im a single female with a disability, this was not a pleasant situation. They then proceeded to unload all my items carelessly back into the old house and left me stranded. I have tried to call the company several times and emailed them to call me, but of course no one gets back to me. They are cowards, who ran away when they did something wrong. They've now cost me my bond. I have made a police report for property damage and have contacted consumer affairs for further advice. Please do not use this company. Read other reviews that say the same thing, they deny any breakages and gaslight you. It's not worth it!

Absolute horrendous service. Went over requested time, refused to give back my lounge held it to ransom until I paid the overtime amount. The guys turned up with a small truck after describing what I had. I had to chase my quote, no receipt given for deposit or final payment. Removalist sat in the truck on tik tok for an hour and charged overtime. They also facetimed their wifes or partners while in my house with my personal possessions and children. Spoke to the boss about them breaking my autistic childs barbie dream house which was $300 and him over charging me and I got not my problem mate you had 24hours to notify me of any breakages, did the guys tell you they broke it? Of course not just hid it when they brought it in so I couldn't see it fair to say the meltdowns I've had now for the last 3 days have been fun. The boss told me he had to speak to his guys about all of it and he would call me back 10/10/2023, no response. The breached privacy by filming in my home and the boss thinks that's ok. Would never recommend these guys ever to anyone. Paid more money than we allocated and now a broken barbie house and a filmed home. To think these guys come recommended.

I have never written any bad review of any place or service cause whenever bad things happen I know they are doing their best to satisfy the customers and it's mainly accidental. But things have changed for the first time . Ive got a booking at 11:00 am, and it was agreed weeks before and the day before. Then, they changed the booking at 10:33 am saying it will be 3 hours delay (14:00 pm) which I think is ridiculously long. I said okay cause I don't want any trouble and just want to get it done. Then, at 13:53 pm he called it will be another 40 minutes delay. Well, I guess Im not surprised anymore. They finally came at 14:50 pm which is almost 4 hours delay. the positives are, they are pretty quick to do the carrying which indicate they really are mindful and value time for themselves, but not the customers. I complained and I got a sorry. I reckon it's easy to say sorry without any complications or compensations, and again, they really don't care.

Initially I made a review to say thankyou to this company, but then I went back to the old house and realised the removalist company dropped my washing machine into my laundry wall and put two huge holes in it,.they say they didn't do it and didn't lift anything heavy in that area...they removed my washing machine and dryer from that exact area and damaged the walls and lied about it, didn't inform me. Didn't take ownership of it. Now im left with damaged walls I have to repair and have painted by myself. As a sole parent this is very distressing to me..do not recommend you hire them. They'll damage your property and lie about it. I have photos of the damage Included in this post.... In all lifeline removers are not very helpful and are quite ignorant and won't acknowledge or cover costs for any damage that they cause. In fact they'll lie and deny it..not worth hiring

If you want your property and your furniture damaged, this is the removal firm for you. Having turned up four hours late, the three morons who clearly did not want to be there unloaded all my furniture and put it back in the house when some damage to the floor and wall was brought to their attention. Refusing to discuss the situation, they drove off leaving me in a property with no water or electricity, late on a Saturday evening ahead of the New Year long weekend. Calls and emails to the head office generated no response, so clearly the issue is with the management. As they say, a fish rots from the head down. This is the case with Lifeline movers. I don't know how they are in business, as customer service is not something they know how to spell, never mind deliver. They are a disgrace.
