Allen Moving & Storage

Patty Arceri

We recently used Allen’s Moving and Storage for our house move and had a great experience. Allen and Anthony were professional, and handled our furniture and boxes with care. Everything arrived safely and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing movers.

Jon Eaves

I have engaged Allen many times over the last 10 years or so. Every time I've had a wonderful experience, that has been well communicated and and well executed.

ari meyerthal

We used Allens yesterday to move house. I was really impressed by the service , attention to detail , patience and friendly attitude. Ben and Henry were great ! I highly recommend Allen Moving & Storage.

Geri Taylor

Excellent service with well trained and pleasant moving staff.

Chantal Jacq

Have moved us flawlessly every time - the best in the business!

Michael Horin

BEST MOVING COMPANY EVER!! We have previously used 4-5 other removalists and have always encountered difficulties. Ben (the owner) from Allen Moving & Storage could not have been nicer, more helpful or easier to deal with. We will never use any other moving company again, I can't recommend Allen Moving & Storage highly enough!

Heather Di Carlo

We had Ben and Alex to do the loading up, they were polite, efficient and incredibly strong! We had a big load, so we did require an additional truck the next day, but they arrived happily and got it done in only 2 hours. When they arrived at our new home in NSW we had Tim, Cooper (I thought he said his name was cucumber, I was a tad overtired!!!)and a spooky guy called George. He was very spirited! The unload was done so efficiently, it’s actually a pleasure to be surrounded by boxes. Thanks boys, you were amazing.

Amanda Whittle

Lovely staff really good job

Tony Wu

Super friendly and very professional. Will definately use them again

Caroline Morrison

Alan and Mo did a fabulous job moving all our possessions to our new house. They took the utmost care and worked so efficiently, I was in awe just watching them. I can’t recommend Allen Moving & Storage highly enough. Extremely good value for money, too.

Jessica Gelsi

Allen is absolutely fantastic! By far the best experience I have had with a removalist. I needed to have my studio relocated and Allen and his team were so efficient and took great care in transportation. They made what could have been a very stressful process very easy! I highly recommend :).

Wicked Lilly

Great service, packed and UNPACKED all of my things for me, best move i've had

Kate Brooks

Right from the start, my email enquiry generated a personal phone call to organise a time to come and see exactly what I needed - which was great as I had no idea how many boxes or people I would need to move! (A question you’re constantly asked by the majority of moving companies to get a quote). Ben gave a clear quote expectation and what would vary it, and then before and during the process they were proactive with their communications, open, good humoured and always friendly. The quote and end price wasn’t the cheapest but it most definitely wasn’t the most expensive (by a long shot!), and pretty darn close to what he’d indicated in his quote. Ben and all his team made the process so much less stressful than it may otherwise have been. I would thoroughly recommend Allens Moving moving, from start to finish, in every aspect!

Thea Kogler

The guys were great. Calm, patient and efficient. They did a great job. Would definitely recommend their work and plan to use them again for our next move. Thank you :))

Elise Simpson

The third I’ve used Allens. Can’t fault them. Helpful, friendly, careful, thoughtful, and they go above and beyond.

Todd Jackson

Good stuff, would highly recommend 10/10

Cheri McIntyre

The communication was wonderful kept informed promptly. Very friendly, helpful and professional team. Made the experience great thanks for the peace of mind

Samantha Honey

brilliantly responsive. if you wish for hunky professionals with attention to detail, lovely job done in good time? they deliver. (literally i suppose!) they unscewed our stain-glass door to get our family heirloom table out!! then swiftly did it back again. wow wow. also great, on the flat tray ute, for a small load 2 days later. thank you so much, Liam, Allen, Darren, Ben & Allen. worth every $$.

Nic Stoel

Have contracted Allen Moving twice over the years. Can't see myself utilising any other moving service in the future.

Ian Robson

Fantastic experience with Allen, Ben and the crew on our move ?

Stuart James Birkett

Moved twice with them now and service has been outstanding both times. Great value too so takes a lot of stress out of what can be a painful process. Well done!

Costa Gabriel

Allen and Alex moved our office today, and I genuinely don't know how to thank them enough. Our office isn't a simple move. It's filled with pieces that mean a great deal to us: sculptures, artworks, bespoke furniture and collectible items, many of them heavy, awkward and completely irreplaceable. Add in stairs and tight access. From the first piece to the last, Allen and Alex treated everything as if it were their own. Many of our bespoke pieces had to be carefully disassembled for the move, and they took them apart with real precision, keeping every component safe and accounted for. Every item was wrapped in heavy blankets, and the heaviest, most awkward pieces were manoeuvred through tight spaces and up the stairs with patience, skill and not a single mark. Watching them work, you could see they genuinely cared. Allen and Alex were warm, calm and positive the whole way through, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made what could have been a stressful day feel easy. They were on time, fast and incredibly efficient, and their pricing is honestly remarkable for this level of service. We've used many removalists over the years, including several who claim to specialise in art and collectables. None of them have come close to the care Allen and Alex showed us today.

Ann Birrell

Happy to recommend: careful, efficient, helpful and experienced; they were also just nice, trustworthy types.

BJA

Allen Moving and Storage made our move an absolute breeze! From professional, friendly office support to THE MOST OUTSTANDING TEAM- it all went off without a hitch! The Allen Boys were brilliant, fast, fastidiously careful and nothing was too much trouble for them-even assembling flat packed tables. Will never be able to thank Ben, Vee, Swanny, Tim, Jason, Dan and whole team for going well above and beyond. Sorry about the stairs guys!!

Fran Johann

Ben & his team at Allen moving truly are the best at what they do. Seriously do yourself a favour & contact Ben or one of his friendly staff & let them take some of the stress out of moving, They are so professional & reliable, you will be thankful that you chose them to do the work. You guys are the best . Thank you ??

Amanda McMahon

Ben Allen and his team have moved us five times including a complicated move which involved moving furniture interstate and locally. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they have taken incredible care with our antique furniture and artworks every move. His team has been full of familiar faces each time which is also reassuring. I can’t recommend Allen removals and storage highly enough they take a huge load off during a stressful time.

Barry Jupp

I have used Allen Furniture Removals 3 times and found them to be the most professional people on all occasions and would recommend them highly.

sam k

I highly recommend Allen’s moving services. They make the toughest of moves look easy! Thanks again AL ??

Jessica Ellenby

I highly recommend Allen Moving and Storage. Leading up to the move, Allen answered all questions promptly and with patience. On moving day, Allen and Alex worked so hard and efficiently. They didn't stop! Pretty sure the only break they took was on the drive from one house to the other!! Although they were quick, they were very careful with all our stuff and even offered to put felt on the bottom of all our furniture that was going on floorboards. Thank you to Allen and Alex for making moving day stress free!

Jess Griffin

I’d just like to leave a review for Alan and his coworker after our recent move. The whole experience was handled professionally, quickly, and at a great price. I’ve moved a few times in my life and have never had such a smooth experience with a removalist company. I highly recommend Alan’s Removals to anyone moving anywhere. Very professional, fast, and efficient from start to finish. Thanks again for a great job done! — Jon & Jess Walker

Allan McFarlane

For my company and personally we have used Allen Moving & Storage three times over the last few years for moving. Staff are punctual, courteous, polite and careful. We also have an existing storage unit and find it value for money and easy to access.

Erin Thompson

We can’t recommend Ben and the team highly enough. The moment they arrived we instantly felt relieved, they knew exactly what needed to be done and got started. They went above and beyond taking special care of some fragile furniture and even set it back up at the new place. They were 10/10 professional, and good blokes, we all had a good laugh during the day , it was the most unstressful move we’ve ever done. Thanks again

Trina S

I decide this time to go with a PROFESSIONAL moving company to relieve the stress and not end up with some mystery bill on completion! From the 1st email to an in home price assesment to waving the truck goodbye at the end, everything was a breeze. I would definitely use Allen's again and confidently recommend this company.

Mr. Bear

From the first enquiry to the actual interstate move, everything went smoothly. Not many removalist services are as transparent as this one. Allen and his team were professional and efficient. They use their own truck and crew, giving you peace of mind that your belongings will be safe and won’t get lost. You can also choose your preferred pick-up and drop-off time and date, provided they have availability, so it’s best to book early. They also wrapped all my furnitures to make sure nothing got dirty or damaged. This is a premium service, so expect higher price. My advice is to provide your inventory as accurately as possible so they can assign the right truck size and manpower for your move. Thank you Allen and co. ??

JEFF MANGER

6 moves over the past 18 years - every time a 5 star experience provided by Ben and his team. I recommend Allen Moving & Storage unreservedly.

Guy Taylor

Seriously great movers! We moved twice in 2 months and as ridiculous as that sounds Ben and his team made it easy. Great guys! Highly recommended!

Daniel Mcdermott

Outstanding removal list, efficient, professional, courteous, and also with amazing trucks. Would recommend Allen's removal list to anyone needing to move house, properties or businesses.

Penny Iredale I

I have now used Allen Moving and Storage to move home twice and could not give them a better review. The first time we moved we had the Allen team wrap and pack our belongings and everything arrived in perfect condition at the other end. Recently we moved interstate and had already left the house (State) when Ben came to quote. He is incredible - honest, reliable, accurate and I was so happy to leave our things in his capable hands. Everything was completed on time and 100% . Absolutely worth using this company over others for piece of mind and great service.

Amela Golic

Ethan and Marcus did everything, they were friendly, professional and made the whole experience stress free!

louise hogan

Highly recommend, courteous and professional service, nothing was a problem

Liz Kessegian

We had an outstanding experience with Allen Moving during our recent relocation. From the beginning, their professionalism shone through, with a courteous and knowledgeable team (Alan, Alex and Cooper) that guided us seamlessly through the process. Despite facing unexpected challenges like rain at both ends of the move, Allen Moving impressed us with their unparalleled speed and efficiency. Their commitment to meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of service set them apart. What truly stood out was the exceptional care and attention given to all our belongings. Even in adverse weather conditions, the team handled each item with precision and ensured everything arrived intact. Allen Moving's dedication to professionalism, speed, and the meticulous protection of our possessions made our move stress-free. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Allen Moving to anyone seeking a reliable and top-notch moving service. Thank you, Allen Moving, for making our relocation a smooth and positive experience.

I have used Allen’s twice now and each time had a faultless experience. The team are very professional and particular about not damaging anything. They are always on time and very helpful. I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks guys!

Aimee Shattock

I spent HOURS researching removalists in Melbourne because I've been burned by dodgy companies before, and I honestly can't recommend Allen more highly. They were easy and friendly to deal with when planning the move, sent reminders before the day, called when they were 20 mins away, and were perfectly on time. The guys who did my move were incredibly friendly and professional, and treated all my belongings with care. It wasn't an easy job moving furniture up and down two flights of stairs at either end, but the guys did it with a smile. I was worried they'd drag their feet and take their time to blow out the cost (as I've experienced with other removalists in the past), but they were bang on with what they estimated and quoted. I especially liked that they had a standard travel cost as this has also impacted me negatively in the past. I hope I won't be moving again any time soon, but when I do, I'll definitely be going with Allen. Thanks again, guys!

Mick Hargraves

I would not use any one else 10 out of 10

Tiffany Jeffs

I cannot speak highly enough about Ben and his crew. They have moved my family and I at least three times and on what is a stressful day they make it just so easy and stress free. Each move has gone seamlessly and they go above and beyond to support you in every way. They took such great care of all of our belongings and even dismantled and re-assembled our beds which is always tricky and the first thing you want done in your new home. I highly recommend Allen moving & storage. Tiff

Darren Farrugia

I very rarely write on googles reviews but had to give exceptional service what it deserves! Alan moved my apartment to the new place and he is a machine! The extra care he took wrapping each piece of furniture and his method was truly impressive and smashed it out under the estimated time even with me asking to do some extra more difficult pieces that wasn’t originally mentioned yet nothing was a problem and made everything look easy! Strong as an ox, very prompt and a true professional of his craft! Everything moved safely and efficiently! Thanks Al you’re a legend! Definitely be using you next time and recommending you to anyone moving!

Steve

Fantastic company. They took all the worry out of the move for me. Excellent team in the office - handled the initial query and arrangements, followed by the amazing moving team. Two guys. Everything out of the old house, into storage for a month and then up 25 floors to the new apartment. Nothing broken or damaged. I saw someone else move into the building a week later using 4 times the number of movers. Courteous, reliable, and seriously efficient. I'm already recommending these guys to family and friends. Thank you very much. Steve - Docklands

J Bradley

Greg Hagi

Allen and Alex we’re unbelievable, nothing was too much to ask from them. We moved into a narrow townhouse and the only way to get our couches into the house was via a first floor balcony, No problem for these guys they just lifted them up via ropes over the front balcony and put them into the lounge room. I would highly recommend them, Allen is very hospitable and nothing is too much trouble, Will definitely use them again. Thanks Guys.

Totallyt

I can’t speak highly enough of Ben and his team - Cooper, Tim, Shannon and Pat orchestrating everything in the office. This was an extremely challenging move, even though it was simply from one building to the next, practically across the driveway. What should have taken around four and a half hours stretched into nine due to unforeseen issues—one of the two elevators was out of service, there were long delays with furniture waiting in the lobby, and at one point the lift even got stuck. Despite all of this, Ben and his team remained exceptionally patient, professional, and consistently hardworking throughout the entire day. Not once did their attitude falter. In fact, even the building manager commented on how fantastic they were, which really says a lot. One thing that stood out was their positive attitude—it was a long, frustrating day, yet the team stayed calm, focused, and just got on with the job without any fuss. Nothing seemed too difficult for them. I’ve used highly rated, five-star removalists (in brown and yellow trucks), in the past who still managed to damage furniture, including scratching a leather couch, then didn’t own up to it and refused to compensate. In contrast, Ben and his team took exceptional care, right down to the small personal touches—how items were wrapped and protected to ensure nothing was damaged. True mastery. Their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. This was honestly one of the best moving experiences I’ve ever had. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them or providing a reference. I’m very, very grateful—thank you so much. That was earlier in the year. Unfortunately due to a tragic life event I had to move out & into storage. Nothing but professionalism with compassion and I have just booked my 3rd move with them. ????

Nicole Winter

Amazing service as always. Glass on a piece of artwork was unfortunately broken. Ben picked it up himself and returned it all fixed in 48 hours! The only removalist we use in Melbourne

Prue Ashforth

Allen and Vincent were amazing and worked so hard in extreme heat all day without a break. They made the whole experience much more manageable and stress-free, including supplying wardrobe boxes to move my clothes easily and putting extra effort into placing items in the right locations in the new home, all of this and no damage to any of my precious belongings. Thanks so much and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Danielle Lucas

Tim, Dean and Moweit were fantastic. They were professional, helpful, prompt and took great care. They helped to make the experience as stress free as possible. I have moved a number of times and would recommend these guys as the best. Highly recommend for your next move.
