I booked an interstate move with Holloway and BVFR was the local subcontractor today. There had been a few communication issues with Holloway and Kylie from BVFR helped to smooth them out. Jeremy and team were exceptional in packing and securing everything - I had been worried about fitting everything into the container size but Jeremy and co are officially Tetris masters. Thank you for making a stressful interstate move a bit easier. And Rosie the ?? is already missing you Jeremy!

The crew descended upon us and prepared ti finish our packing Everything was done steadily on Friday 15th June and named indicating which room the box was to go in. Left in early afternoon Returned Monday to load some furniture and labelled boxes Kylie led the whole procedure and suggested we slightly more fir another truck to fit all our boxes in Delivered safety and unloaded all our gear Our daughte and hubby then began the onerous task of setting our bedroom ,kitchen and office They did this extremely well A big thank you to Klyie and staff who did a great job in shifting us We were glad we chose Barossa Removals and say a huge thank you to make our shift a very successful one We are now finishing off unpacking all the boxes and staring to enjoyour new home Thank you

This is my THIRD move utilising this company. Obviously if you weren't happy with a service the first time you wouldn't re-book - especially not twice again right? That we did re-book with Kylie and BVFR speaks for itself. Communication with Kylie was perfect. Kylie is highly responsive and thorough. We ran into a legality with our conveyancer and real estate this time around and it was Kylie and not the others who offered a real solution which got us out of trouble. Kylie is a highly personable person and leader and we cannot sing her praises enough. Her team is careful, industrious and as equally personable. A big thank you to Theo and Robert who alongside Kylie worked tirelessly from 7am to 8.30pm (with some back up called in after 4pm) to move us out and into our new forever home in the one day. Nothing broken or damaged at the other end and the cost was competitive. I will never move again but will give out the company's name to anyone I know who is moving. Unprofessional, Racist, Terribly poor customer service. Unfortunately, not a great review to leave. Very poor customer service skills and quite an abhorrent attitude. We spoke about my needs. The quote was provided and I had simply been provided a lower quote elsewhere. Hearing this the woman on the phone quickly asked the race/ethnicity of the other provider and began a sales pitch with how terrible this certain race was and that I should watch out for prices so low. I comprehend her concerns and I agree with her about the potential poor level of service, hence my looking for another one! I actually appreciate the honesty in regard to her concern. However, to belittle my understanding of the situation and to bolster her own by degrading and pointing fingers at another race is completely unacceptable. And very far from professional. With over 10 years in transport as a scheduler myself and a truck license holder, I know transport, pricing, the costs for fuel, additions of a second man for lifting large items and the potential equipment involved. I found her methods to be very disrespectful and rather shocking. Shame on you Barossa Valley Removalists that's not how it is done.

Unfortunately, this company have let us down at the last minute. I rang 4 times regarding a piano removal booking. I requested two dates for removal as my daughter didn't work on those dates. Kylie at Barossa Valley Removals was busy so she said she would let me know closer to the date. The last time I spoke to Kylie, I had her on speaker phone and my husband and I both heard her say she would get back to confirm which day she could do it. However, I have used Barossa Valley Removals before for our piano before and they were really great. The moral of the story is DO NOT just book over the phone, get a written quote and NOT book and send written confirmation via their 'contact us' on on their website as that obviously wasn't a firm booking.

Horrible experience. Booked through Muval on the premise that my things would be shipped the day after they were picked up, and would be dropped off in Sydney 5 days later. On calling Barossa to confirm a drop off time, Kylie advised me that there had been a cancellation, meaning my things would not arrive in Sydney until 4 weeks later (I was not informed of this and would not have known if I didn’t contact Barossa personally). No sympathy offered from Kylie, and belongings were effectively held ransom until another customer in the shipping container elected to pay for the remaining space to make it profitable to send. No compensation offered, despite causing me to live out of a suitcase in temporary accommodation for 2 weeks longer than anticipated. Communication and customer service were both atrocious. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and struggle to comprehend how Barossa is still in business with the lack of care shown to its customers.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. They missed a lot of things that needed to be removed, which was suppose to be written down by the person that came to see what needed to be taken. We were very clear and specific what needed to be taken, and lots were missed. Wouldn’t let us talk on phone, yelling over us. They were 100% in the wrong. Do not recommend. Disgusting.
