Cedar Ridge Property Services is a family business operating in the Byron Shire and beyond. We've lived in the area for over 25 years and possess an abundance of local knowledge. Our service area includes all locations in the Ballina, Byron Bay, Lismore and Casino, Tweed Heads and Gold Coast areas. Together, we have backgrounds in professional removal services and interior design and styling. The intersection of these professions brings together practical skills and industry knowledge, as well as a creative eye and meticulous attention to detail.
Home Packing
Our experienced packing professionals will save you time and reduce the stress of moving house. We work efficiently to pack your house, while ensuring your belongings and valuables are handled with the utmost care. Our packing services can be tailored to your needs.
This service includes...
- Packing materials, boxes and wrapping supplies.
- We organise items by room and label boxes accordingly to ensure a smooth unpack.
- We professionally wrap ceramics, glassware and valuables to protect your belongings from breakage.
- We can arrange to pack your home the day before the removalists arrive to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to your new home and less inconvenience to your life.
- We can provide a full packing service or pack only the rooms or items you prefer. If you are planning on doing some packing yourself our staff can work with you to carefully pack and label boxes or we can pack just the kitchen and breakables while you take care of the rest.
Home Unpacking
If you're relocating to Byron Bay, the Northern Rivers or Tweed Valley, let our team give you a warm welcome. We'll help to get you unpacked and settled in sooner. Our team can work independently or under your direction to unpack and organise your belongings. We can unpack just the kitchen or the entire house.
Partial Unpack
Some rooms can be harder to unpack than others and sometimes just having one or two rooms unpacked can make a big difference to the first few days in your new home. We can unpack just the kitchen and make up beds so that you're ready for your first night.
Complete Unpack
Let our team create a beautiful and functional space for you. With our complete unpack service you will arrive home to comfort and style -
- Organising your kitchen to ensure it functions efficiently and looks amazing. We wipe down all cupboards and surfaces before unpacking and line kitchen drawers with non slip mats.
- Unpacking clothing and thoughtfully organising into drawers and wardrobes.
- Beds made up with fresh linen ready for your first night in your new home.
- Bathroom items unpacked and fresh towels and toiletries in place.
- Laundry items unpacked and linen neatly stacked into linen cupboards.
- Books and ornaments unpacked and on display.
- Garage and home office unpacked and organised if required.
- Packing boxes flattened and stored away for collection.
- Art work and mirrors can be hung by arrangement.

I can't recommend Cedar Ridge Packing Services enough! We needed to clear out and pack up an entire room of our house in Australia while we were in Europe, and they absolutely exceeded all our expectations. The room was packed to the brim with random items and furniture, messy and disorganized, yet they took on the challenge without batting an eye. Communication was smooth and easy throughout the whole process, which was such a relief given the distance. They handled every aspect with exceptional professionalismfrom carefully cataloging every item into a detailed inventory to sending us photos of everything once it was packed. The speed and efficiency were amazing; they got it all done in a very short timeframe, perfectly accommodating our tight schedule between tenants. It was worth every penny for the peace of mind and top-notch service they provided. Huge thanks to the team for making what seemed like an impossible task feel effortless!
