I booked a Removals Team through Kent Removals who intern subcontracted the job out to Duells. I can only say how impressed I was with the shift The pick up day came I never even heard the Truck pull up outside I had a knock at the door opened it and there stood a Jayden from Duells 6'5" tall and looked like an AFL Ruckman I couldn't believe how easy he and his offsider loaded the truck with all of our belongings and what nice people they were The shift was 500 kilometres away So they picked up Thursday and I met them at the destination Friday They unloaded put all items in the house and sheds where we wanted them and assembled a number of items as well I Highly recommend them. It was the best polite service I have had from anyone in years. Thanks Heaps and you are welcome to drop in anytime when you are in the area for some refreshments

I was so happy with how my move went from Melbourne to Millencent. They were all amazing Jason and Dean on the pack up and Dean and Jordon on the drop off. Nothing was damaged and my treasured coffee table was wrapped up so well, nothing was going to happen to it. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants a proffessional pick up and delivery of your household items. I am a bit of a horder and Jason and Dean managed to fit everything into the 100 cubic meters i booked. For a while I didnt think it was all going to fit, but Jason is so amazing with how he stacks stuff and worked out how to get it all in.

We found the young men who packed and delivered our furniture and goods to be quick and competent although unwilling to place boxes in the appropriate rooms because they were mixed up. They were dumped at the front door and my husband and I read the labels and put them in the right room. However after it was delivered I felt things were missing. Oh yes there was a box at the end of "our" shed had been missed and delivered a week later was an outside ornament in their ratty box.. Two weeks later a silver painting trestle 4' long turned up. How that was missed in the empty shed when they found the first item is a mystery. A month later I went to do some baking and after going through every box left unpacked a large box of baking equipment was obviously missing. Rang Duels and "no we don't have anything in the lost pile, no, insurance is only for crash and burn " After expressing my dissatisfaction I was told the owner would ring me when he came in {every few days). An hour later the (I assume) yard manager rang and his form of communication was attack and exaggeration. When I said we had paid them good money to move our goods (over $6,000) I was told" it had nothing to do with money! Don't talk about money" They didn't have it, I had left it at the previous house, (settlement was the next day as they had given our date to someone else and they had taken everything) I had poorly packed it (because half were in smaller boxes so at 67 yrs I could carry them) he had spent 4 hours packing to make it easier for the boys" (they unloaded it to store and reloaded to deliver) And it went on and on, so many ridiculous , some incomprehensible statements! I was constantly talked over and when I pointed out that I was $200 out of pocket because Duels had lost my goods he told me he was hanging up because I wouldn't listen to him!" I'm sure they would be competent at packing and delivery on the same day but dealing with them was a expensive (we were charged for an extra trailer which they didn't use plus the lost goods) and generally an unpleasant distressing experience.

communication was poor, invoicing was wrong, complained about locks to storage units not working properly several times...not fixed and they demanded a 2 week written notice when vacating unit which I think is ludicrous when you're paying month to month. (rental properties only have to give 1 week notice).some sofa cushions ripped during moving. the only positives, workers friendly and punctual.

Ordered a lounge from Adelaide store. Adelaide store Arranged to have Duells pick up and deliver to Naracoorte on a Monday . By Wednesday had heard nothing. I rang Duells , spoke to young lady who stated, we only received details on Monday. Too late for delivery on that Monday. It was then arranged to be delivered following Monday. Excellent. I rang Duells on the Monday for approximate time of delivery , this woman was rude, stated short of staff, so no delivery that Monday. But they had the lounge in mount gambier for delivery . I explained that it had been arranged for that Monday. She said no cant do it. I was upset as it was now over a week of when it should have been delivered. She stated its only furniture , so not urgent. Message on my phone , stating delivery would be Wednesday, this week. 03/12/25. I rang Wednesday to check possible delivery time. She informed me that Adelaide store had cancelled delivery ???? I was shocked as last time I spoke to her , Wednesday as they had lounge in mount gambier. Rang Adelaide store , they were shocked knew nothing about cancelling. ( The final decision was another transport from mount gambier South West freight , was contacted. Delivered the lounge after pick up 03/12/25 from Adelaide and delivered Thursday 04/12/2025 to naracoorte ) I again contacted Adelaide store and asked , where the lounge was, as Duells said they had it in mount gambier The older woman who stated to myself the lounge was in mount gambier had admitted to Adelaide store , that they had not picked up the lounge from Adelaide at all. She lied and did not tell the truth.

Will not be going through Duels again. After getting assistance to move state from SA to NT we have been left stranded with no belongings due to being told they needed to come pick up our stuff up from our house on the 8th of April to have it to our new house in the NT on the 22nd we are still waiting for our stuff to arrive! with more then 5 phone calls to duels we just keep getting we will find out and call you back no one ever calls us back. Then to find out today they dont know who they contracted through to travel the rest of the way to the NT is a JOKE! There has been absolutely 0 apologys for any of this. Do better duels. Im absolutely furious!

I don't even want to give one star. My things got delivered in to a storage unit. I started unloading today and just cried. All my furniture is ruined. 2 large beautiful clocks broken, a dressing table leg snapped clean off and put back on with 2 screws. You can see the break on the beautiful curved leg and the ugly screws used to put it clumsily back on! The only thing to do is burn it! They never even bothered to tell me. My fridge that wasn't even 2 years old, all dented and bulging down the side where they stacked heavy things on top. My display cabinets ruined, bedside cabinets, cupboards, tv cabinet, all ruined, wardrobes, beds all ruined! Thousands of dollars to replace. I still have more to unload from the storage unit and I just don't have the heart to see anymore of my things broken and damaged. Not the first removalists I've used. Definitely the worst. Do not use. Do not recommend.

Really disappointed with the service we received from Duells. Luckily we purchased separate insurance as many of our belongings were damaged in transit. Scratches on nearly every large piece of furniture, boxes crushed and beat up. Communication was basically non-existent too. Didn't get a call the day before before pick-up to confirm time like they claimed. Didn't get a call the day before delivery to confirm time. I had to call reception three times in the morning before I was told 'late afternoon'. Then thirty minutes later I get a call from the driver saying they were half an hour away. Our belongings showed up in a completely different truck and different people than what they were packed in, so not sure if that was when the damage occurred. Both lots of people were rude and made inappropriate comments. When contacting them in regards to the damage, their only response was 'it's not our fault, contact your insurance company'

Worse move we have ever had - 2 truck breakdowns, furniture and boxes left in the carport and a broken chair - damaged table top - which were NOT broken before (it would have been noted on loading surely?) This was their reply when asked to repair the chair and what I was to do with the heavy items left outside This was their reply We received your complaint and after a discussion with the Manager it has been decided that we are not liable for the chair damage as this item was broken prior to our team loading it. (no, sorry it wasn't) Everything that was loaded on the truck and trailer in Millicent, was delivered to your Crystal Brook address if you feel there are some missing items I recommend you check all rooms in case it was simply placed in a different room. (still missing) Duells would like to acknowledge your threat to slander the company via Social Media, in the event you choose to proceed with that threat the company will seek Legal Advice on this matter.
