This was the best move we have done and Dean And James were awesome. Nothing was a problem and they took absolute care with every item. They were great to talk to and nothing was a problem. They lodes from our Hope Island location and on the same day unloaded in Brisbane. The unloading was brilliant and again nothing was a problem and they help place furniture and locked our big lounge together. I would recommend the service as it is great value and great people to deal with.

I dont write reviews unless I am exceptionally pleased or bitterly disappointed. In this case its the former. I had my gear in storage for over a year and when I got these guys to deliver it to my new house I was expecting a few items to be broken. As it turns out everything was perfect. Additionally, the guys (I cant remember their names but a pair of Kiwi lads) were exceptional in their service and skill. They got some very heavy items into place with a positive attitude and treated my things with great care. On the downside they were late a few hours - this didnt matter to me and they kept up communication throughout the day and explained the reason (which seemed reasonable), and they made up for it with the service. Overall, would use again without hesitation- highly recommended.

From the moment we spoke to the team at Faulkner Removals, until our furniture was delivered to our residence, in Cairns, nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. The 2 removalist guys were so friendly and efficient, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was packed up. The ladies in the office were super lovely and helpful, too (I'm sure they got sick of me calling so often to change my dates), but they honestly bent over backwards to help me and my family out, time & time again, and with very little notice most of the time. We even had to store goods with them for about 4 weeks (which was unexpected), and they had no issues accommodating this service for us, too. Based on our move, I would tell anyone who wants a removalist to look no further, as this is the company you want to use. Well done, Faulkner Removals. We can not thank you enough for the tremendous efforts performed by your whole team!

Unproffesional. Broke a whipper snipper in half. Crushed a filing cabinet, broke a trolley plus 2 other things. I had to stay on them week after week for 3 months!!! They finally offered me 200$ for $750 worth of damage. A bunch of gons!! Told me I should have had insurance. Not recommended....

However a staff member from the Brisbane Depot was unhelpful, unpleasant and unprofessional in her communication with me. I think she fails to grasp how important ones possessions are, which is a problem if you are working in the removal business.

Guys that picked up were excellent except one guy just ran along rough and bumpy paving pushing an expensive butchers chopping block on wheels. Hence a wheel was broken off at the arrivals end. But otherwise the pick-up was excellent. The 2 stars is because of the 3rd time lucky delivery. We were given a delivery time on a day earlier than expected. We cancelled plans for the day to be home to accept delivery. We got a phone call when the truck was due that they couldn't make it until around midday the next day. We then changed plans for a lunch meeting that day only to be waiting and waiting. I contacted the truck whom said they were still several hours away. They finally arrived about 4.30pm aboutanother4 hours late. 3rd time lucky Now I understand it was a tough time with the SEQ flood and the Far North Queensland heat wave. The truck driver was suffering some sort of heat exhaustion. Awful for him so he needed to rest up, we got him drinks a seat etc. But he just complained about the job the whole time when Ash just soldiered on with the help from a neighbour and we helped moving much of the stuff also. The poor guys didn't have a ramp or elevator to get things off of the truck. Lucky another neighbour could loan us a step ladder and a trolley. So many obstacles for these guys. We did help as much as we could, kept the guys hydrated and were very helpful despite being let down numerous times. When leaving the driver complained again and again about everything and mentioned that he'd cancelled the job for the day earlier due to heat exhaustion that day as well. Swearing about customers and office staff telling him what to do. We also had a printer damaged and a leg broken off of an outdoor setting table. Plus the wheel on butcher's block. Disappointed. Now the office staff are brilliant and young Ash is an asset to the company. I could wear a delay once but twice wasn't good at all. Nothing good to say about the driver at the arrivals end. Hence the 2 stars. Cheers

Want all your belongings DAMAGED, BROKEN, CRUSHED??? Then use this company!! They have a zero care factor!! My $15,000 motorbike has a massive rub mark on the back fairing and broken mirror from where they just strapped it to the side of a container, Fridge damaged, Computer table broken, all boxes crushed.. Rang them the same day it got dropped off for answers and all the girl could say is ill get someone to call you back, well im still waiting!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I first engaged Chess moving for a small amount of basic house hold items to be moved from Perth to Brisbane. I had my items temporarily held at their storage facility in Archerfied until I added more items from a storage container I had in Brisbane. Once all items were together, it was then sent on a truck to Cairns (final destination) with Faulkner removals (a subsidiary company of Chess Removals.) The issues that I then endured over the next few months were as follows. Delivery Dates that were promised were blown out by weeks. Items were delivered to random addresses mixed in with other people's belongings, Multiple items went missing and have never been recovered. Many emails and phone calls that were promised and never returned. Mishandled inventory resulting in unrecoverable loss of items, Misinformation of delivery details, damage to multiple items. The amount of incompetence I endured from this organisation was out of this world. Do yourself a massive favour and go elsewhere, even if it costs a few more dollars. Please note I do not know if the items that vanished into thin air happened between Perth and Brisbane or Brisbane to Cairns.

Used this company to move from Qld to Victoria, the amount of damage was just unbelievable not to mention the items that failed to arrive at the destination. After many promises to investigate the photos of the damages they just denied everything and at one point were blaming their sub contractor. Delivery was 3 days late and they blamed this on a derailment which cannot be substantiated. They demanded full payment up front and I now know why. Pay extra and avoid these amateurs at any cost.

Moved house after 35 years, even though we had culled, there was a lot of stuff to move. Two guys turned up around 8.30am and were very good to deal with. They contacted their boss around 11am to ask for help, with no assistance given. It took >12 hours to pack and load but they couldn't fit everything in the truck, so we had to go back the next day and pick up stuff ourselves. We arrived at our new home at 11pm that night! After they unpacked the truck, my wife was pressured over the phone to pay the bill immediately. We discovered over several days that many of our boxed items were damaged. Given the above and that this was pay-per-hour, I was very disappointed in their services!

I only got the refund eventually by reaching out to the company muval that suggested them to me. And they had to email their boss multiple times to get them to finally get the refund in process.

An hour after they were due to arrive no one showed, no one answered our calls. I wouldnt recommend using their services if youre after an efficient and prompt move. Weve been left with a house full of furniture and limited options.

Terrible service, rude attitude and money stealers. I used this company to move my furniture from Melbourne to Brisbane. They gave me a quote of $1700. I paid the deposit and they picked up my furniture after a week they called me and told me to pay ($1700+$1900) and rudely said if you don't pay that money we will return your furniture and keep your deposit. That was the time I was in Brisbane and waiting for my stuff. I couldn't do much in that bad situation and I paid them. When they delivered my stuff, I just found most of my furniture damaged or dirty, when I called them they just said it's not covered by insurance and they can't do anything. That's just disappointing, make sure not to stuck in their trap.

Worst removal experience I've had. My belongings arrived 5 days late. Everytime I rang to inquire about a delivery time, the manager, spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional manner. When the truck arrived, they would not unload it until I paid an extra 300 in cash. They said it was because it was a bigger load than quoted. The exact list had been sent pre removal and a price agreed on and paid.
