Using JWS was such an excellent choice of ours. It started when I was looking for pricing: Jack communicated effectively, and started with their WHS and insurance details, then told us how they would do the move. Their prices were competitive - so they were the obvious choice. Straight away the benefits started: a week before the move Jack then dropped off about 30 plastic tubs, avoiding all of that issue of looking for cardboard boxes, and then disposing of them afterwards. On the move day Jack even disclosed that they have had the boxes made from recycled plastics - environment excellence everywhere, I'm surprised in hindsight that all removalists don't do this. The move itself was smooth, effective and quick. They carefully loaded our furniture, and unloaded at the other end. They showed extra care (above and beyond expectation) for our furniture and houses aat both ends. And to top it all off, they were excellent to talk to - about a wide variety of topics. I suggest you ask open questions - you'll be surprised at the answer you get from Jack (and Dex). We highly recommend them.

THIS is the movers you're looking for! I got burned by a roommate's choice of movers in 2019 and swore I wouldn't let it happen again. My research lead me to JWS, who were literally perfect. Initial scheduling was easy and fun. Jack was more than happy to give me more context on some of the dodgy stuff I saw while researching, such as companies harassing customers for good reviews or the big foreign companies that manage multiple of the big movers here with zero standards in their hiring. He's got some great stories about these places, would recommend, lol. Anyway Jack and Dex arrived within 10 minutes of the agreed time, even communicated they would be ten minutes late and were exactly right. (I've friends who've had movers like CBR who never even showed up.) They listened to instructions carefully before they disassembled, moved and packed 2 rooms worth of things within an hour and a half. They broke nothing and picked up nothing they weren't supposed to and were perfect professionals even when I couldn't supervise. (This is in direct contrast to Two Men and a Truck, who packed and broke computers they weren't spose to, damaged a chest and drawers, ate food out of our fridge and left the wrappers on the drive way and also took multiple on the clock smoke breaks while we weren't looking while sitting on my office chair inside the movers truck.) Despite this move being a much longer move to a rural area near Bungendore, JWS was cheaper than two men in a truck and nothing broke even being rattled around on the pot-hole ridden dirt roads. They also didn't refuse to leave the living room until they were paid like Two Men in a Truck did after intentionally running up the hours, instead JWS politely sent an invoice a few days later. JWS were incredibly time conscious despite being paid hourly. We had to stay behind a while to clean rather than follow them immediately, so they stopped for a lunch break in Bungendore and deducted it from their paid time. They DID plan with us in case we were too slow to catch up, and we gave them instructions on where to place items outside. But in the end they only arrived about 10 minutes before we did so it worked out perfectly. They also had no problems with us helping move stuff out in order to save time and money, which was something Two Men got pretty grumpy about us trying to do (go figure). Finally, they even went above and beyond and helped us roll out a ute with a dead battery from the garage so we could place a fewer of the bigger items. These are people who take pride in their job. Absolute legends. Perfect service, highly recommend.

From start to finish, Jack has been incredible quoting for an office move at reasonably short notice with no price gouging, with a timely and comprehensive quote for such a great price (which made a huge difference for our small NFP organisation). Jack and Dex moved our office on Sunday and I have to say all the previous reviews make so much sense now and Im incredibly grateful we found JWS to help us. The whole experience was seamless with the guys arriving on time, taking care to make sure our furniture was not damaged in any way (and raising any existing damage to confirm before loading), working consistently to load and unload everything within the time allocated. They disassembled and reassembled some difficult items with clear skill, and were just so unbelievably friendly and kind the whole time. Having moved many times over the course of my life, this was hands down the best experience Ive ever had with a move and I will not be using anyone else for any future moves. Jack has been an absolute legend. He and his team moved my belongings from one apartment to the next and were totally unfaced by challenging parking situations or slow lifts. Had a move done by JWS recently. They had been highly recommended and still managed to exceed all expectations. Good communication, pricing was completely transparent and reasonable, no hidden costs. They arrived on time, staff were fit and healthy so they moved quickly and could manage heavy items. Everything was wrapped and moved with care. Cant fault them and would recommend. Deserves more than 5 stars.

Jack and Dex were fantastic! They made the moving process much less stressful. Communication and quotes/pricing were clear and transparent. They were incredibly professional and efficient.They were very careful when moving items and loading the truck (all items were moved undamaged). They even took the time to dis-assemble and re-assemble a bedframe, using their own tools they had with them (they were very well prepared). Thanks to them, the move went as smoothly as possible. I couldn't recommend them enough!

The best removal experience so far. Jack and Paul are very friendly. They have rich experience to estimate the size of furniture and wisely use the certain angle to move things through without scratches. They have equipment to move heavy stuff like piano. Jack managed to fit everything into the truck which saves another trip. Their service is very professional to focus on the customers requirement. When my indoor cat hides away, Jack and Paul walks along the street to look for her. Im glad there is such good quality service in Canberra community. Highly recommended.

We got recommended Jack from JWS while on the hunt for removalists and a storage facility. So grateful that we did because Jack went above and beyond to help us navigate the many options out there. His own services were extremely competitively priced, and he fit our move into both of our very tight schedules (within days of our call, and a few weeks before Christmas). Jack helped clarify my storage space requirements over the phone (what size wed need for how many items) and also suggested an excellent facility option that was more cost effective, had wonderful service and had additional security measures that we hadnt considered. Throughout the entire process, Jack has been responsive, flexible, really friendly and very generous with his time and advice. He and his brother Dex came to our place at 5pm to accommodate our work schedules. They were not phased by our third floor apartment with no lift and managed the entire move seamlessly (including a quick video of loading up the storage unit for our visibility). At short notice, Jack was also happy to take some additional pieces of furniture that we wanted to donate. He has been extremely fair in his pricing (despite storing our donations in his truck overnight). Could not recommend Jack and JWS more. We will absolutely use them for our future moves and recommend them widely. Thank you very much, Jack and Dex!
