JWS Removals

Leonie Young

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Jack and Pedro were amazing - they moved a huge amount of stuff from a large home over 2 days effortlessly and took great care with everything. From the moment I met with Jack I knew I was in good hands and the move was one less thing I had to worry about. Jack and Pedro were meticulous and caring, and were just lovely people to have around - doing a great job whilst also having a sense of humour. I can’t recommend them enough - don’t bother looking to others for quotes, you won’t get better anywhere else. Huge thanks to Jack and Pedro for taking the stress out of moving - you not only made it easy but also a bit of fun too.

JWS relocated me from Canberra to Melbourne. Outstanding service, communication, fair price and super respectful and careful of my belongings. Cannot recommend highly enough ????

Samantha Mallinson

An absolute delight working with Jack and his team this week. They were efficient, fast, careful of the furniture and property and very considerate and helpful. Communication was easy. Pricing competitive. Highly recommend their services ?? ??

Daniel O'Hara

Just finished with these guys. Ditto similar reviews, best removal experience I've had. Super friendly and clear communication, genuinely care about describing their process and facilitating the move. Everything arrived flawlessly. If you googled "Best removalist in Canberra" like I did, choose these guys.

Adi

Jack and his team are the best removals. Jack is highly professional and friendly person. Thank you for arranging everything in the perfect way in Mckellar.

Danielle Nohra

I received four quotes to move and Jack was not only the most well spoken but he made the effort to come out and personally quote my move and drop off his specialised cartons and materials. Jack and his guys were fantastic throughout the entire move! I highly recommend.

Elizabeth Ann

Flawless service! Fastest, friendliest, most efficient and stress-free move I've ever experienced. Jack and his team are lifesavers. HIGHLY recommend JWS.

Kate Bowan

Jack and his team were absolutely excellent. From the quotation process to the uplift, Jack was not only completely professional but also personable and enormously helpful. It was seamless. His team went the extra mile. Thank you so much.

Damien Mullins

Highly recommend Jack and Mick.Jack even came out on a Sunday to prepare a quote for the move, and the move was carried out fast and without any issues. Great guys and they did an excellent job. They took excellent care of our furniture and wrapped and strapped it all in the truck carefully so that it all arrived without damage.

nova frahm

I would highly recommend Jack and his team. Super friendly, efficient, and careful with all of our furniture. Set everything up where we wanted it no problems at all. Five stars all the way. Thanks Jack and Pedro great job and thank you again for making our move smooth and hassle free.

Nigel Oram

We just used JSW Removals for our move from Narrabundah to Griffiths ACT. They were excellent and I cannot recommend them enough. They were very accommodating, even though we booked them at the last moment. Jack was great to deal with - very professional and a good communicator, they were very careful with our stuff, identified things that needed moving that we missed, and the price was very reasonable. It was such a relief being able to trust them completely to do a good job - which hasn't been my experience with other removalists.

Katie Cirjak

I couldn’t recommend this team more highly. They took incredible care with all of our belongings, but what really stood out was how kind and personable they were. Their compassion made a challenging day so much easier. Professional, caring, and efficient—I would recommend them a thousand times over.

Jemma Corrigan

Jack was amazing from start to finish. Great communication before our move. Arrived on time and was efficient and amazingly packed all our stuff into one truck! He took great care with all of our items. Would highly recommend and will use again.

Jerry Ro

Jack and Pedro were so professional and friendly. The job was done quickly and efficiently. They also moved our upright Yamaha piano to its new home. We are new to Canberra, however they made us feel welcome and couldn’t have asked for better bunch of guys to make our move pain free and surprisingly, relaxing. Thanks guys!

Stella Song

Jack and Paul did a very professional job relocating my four bedrooms home. I feel I have been well taking care of, and they made the house moving much more manageable! I would strongly recommend their packing and removal services.

A F

Jack and Dex were fantastic! They made the moving process much less stressful. Communication and quotes/pricing were clear and transparent. They were incredibly professional and efficient. They were very careful when moving items and loading the truck (all items were moved undamaged). They even took the time to dis-assemble and re-assemble a bedframe, using their own tools they had with them (they were very well prepared). Thanks to them, the move went as smoothly as possible. I couldn't recommend them enough!

If you are looking for help with removals and relocation, give Jack a call. Jack and his brother made our house move seamless and even fixed our dining tables as screws were slightly loose. They also gave some tips when connecting the washing machine and refrigerator for effective use.

Juliana Lisboa

Jack was amazing. Fit us in on short notice when he was already really busy. Very professional, great knowledge (moved a fridge up a ridiculous stairwell) and everything come out perfectly. We don’t want to have to move again anytime soon, but if we do, we’d call Jack to make it seamless and stress free!

Kieran Ives

Had a move done by JWS recently. They had been highly recommended and still managed to exceed all expectations. Good communication, pricing was completely transparent and reasonable, no hidden costs. They arrived on time, staff were fit and healthy so they moved quickly and could manage heavy items. Everything was wrapped and moved with care. Cant fault them and would recommend. Deserves more than 5 stars.

Angus Yuill

Recently engaged JWS removals to move me out of storage - genuinely a one of a kind experience for which I couldn’t fault. The boys didn’t have to put everything back together/plumb up etc however, they did. The moving component was seamless but the attention to detail was what had set you apart. I’ve been a prolific mover over the past 3 years and this by far and away was the beat service I’d received to date. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Ruby Douglas

Cannot rate JWS highly enough! Absolutely brilliant service, super professional, took great care of my furniture and Jack is just the loveliest guy. Happy to recommend him to anyone needing to move! Also very competitively priced and willing to squeeze in my job on short notice. Thoroughly impressed!

Great Southern Land Adventures (GSL Adventures)

I have moved with Jack twice now. Professional and efficient. If I had to move again I would definitely choose them again

Ves Akbayir

Best removal experience. Jack and Dex from JWS Removals were absolutely brilliant. Not a single mark on the furniture or walls, and they handled everything with care and confidence. Super friendly guys who made the whole move feel easy. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

Mallika Raj

I’m absolutely in awe of Jacks generosity. I spoke to him on the phone and he came out of his way and moved my furniture. He was so helpful and knowledgeable! I cannot praise Jack enough - if you’re looking for a company who is professional , kind and knowledgeable , highly recommend JWS removals . A big thank you once again Jack !

J B

Jack was brilliant .responsive on time and professional. I would highly recommend his service.

Helen Boyton

Jack and his team provided an excellent service. Always reliable , on time, careful and helpful in his approach to whatever I needed. I have continued to use JWS Remivsks and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Connor

Jack and his assistant were amazing! Very easy to communicate with and was even able to show up earlier than the time we'd set meaning I had an extra hour to get things done on the day. Very glad we picked JWS Removals as they were miles above the removalists we picked last time, and Jack was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for a quick and hassle free move!

Daniel Harrison

THIS is the movers you're looking for! I got burned by a roommate's choice of movers in 2019 and swore I wouldn't let it happen again. My research lead me to JWS, who were literally perfect. Initial scheduling was easy and fun. Jack was more than happy to give me more context on some of the dodgy stuff I saw while researching, such as companies harassing customers for good reviews or the big foreign companies that manage multiple of the big movers here with zero standards in their hiring. He's got some great stories about these places, would recommend, lol. Anyway Jack and Dex arrived within 10 minutes of the agreed time, even communicated they would be ten minutes late and were exactly right. (I've friends who've had movers like CBR who never even showed up.) They listened to instructions carefully before they disassembled, moved and packed 2 rooms worth of things within an hour and a half. They broke nothing and picked up nothing they weren't supposed to and were perfect professionals even when I couldn't supervise. (This is in direct contrast to Two Men and a Truck, who packed and broke computers they weren't spose to, damaged a chest and drawers, ate food out of our fridge and left the wrappers on the drive way and also took multiple on the clock smoke breaks while we weren't looking while sitting on my office chair inside the movers truck.) Despite this move being a much longer move to a rural area near Bungendore, JWS was cheaper than two men in a truck and nothing broke even being rattled around on the pot-hole ridden dirt roads. They also didn't refuse to leave the living room until they were paid like Two Men in a Truck did after intentionally running up the hours, instead JWS politely sent an invoice a few days later. JWS were incredibly time conscious despite being paid hourly. We had to stay behind a while to clean rather than follow them immediately, so they stopped for a lunch break in Bungendore and deducted it from their paid time. They DID plan with us in case we were too slow to catch up, and we gave them instructions on where to place items outside. But in the end they only arrived about 10 minutes before we did so it worked out perfectly. They also had no problems with us helping move stuff out in order to save time and money, which was something Two Men got pretty grumpy about us trying to do (go figure). Finally, they even went above and beyond and helped us roll out a ute with a dead battery from the garage so we could place a fewer of the bigger items. These are people who take pride in their job. Absolute legends. Perfect service, highly recommend.

Maggie Taylor

What great service from JWS Removals from initial communication with regards to quote right through to day of moving. Jack was very professional, on time and genuine. Made a stressful situation of moving in general into one that went smooth as. Would 100% recommend JWS Removals for all your moving needs. Support a local business.thanks again Jack

Franklin to Campbell JWS Removalist were absolutely outstanding — professional, organised, and friendly from the initial scoping right through to planning and execution. Jack and Dex are incredibly hardworking, knowledgeable, and have superhuman strength! They made our move from Franklin to Campbell in the ACT seamless. Everything was handled efficiently and with great care. I’d highly recommend JWS to anyone looking for a stress-free and reliable moving experience.

Elle Davis

Having moved half a dozen times in the last ten years, I have used a decent amount of removalists in the Canberra area - but nothing compares to Jack and his team. The whole crew were exceptional! Highly communicative, extremely focused and attentive to our needs. Jack was so careful with our belongings and treated our home and possessions with the utmost respect. We would happily recommend Jack to absolutely anyone and everyone! Thanks again, JWS crew! You made a stressful move easy and enjoyable!

David Stokes

A big thank you to Jack and the team for facilitating my recent move. The experience was fantastic and everything was handled with extreme professionalism, particularly as I was unavailable throughout the process. I look forward to working with the team again and referring them to my clients/friends.

Ashley Leal

I can’t recommend Jack and his team highly enough. From the start, Jack was really communicative, professional and helpful. On moving day, Jack and Shack made things so easy - they were here on time, packed everything into the truck efficiently and safely. All of our furniture and belongings were well looked after, beds disassembled and reassembled at the new place, washing machine disconnected and reconnected - nothing was a hassle for them. Affable and a pleasure to work with - they actually made moving day fun!

Karina Grimshaw

I highly recommend JWS Removals!! Jack is fantastic to deal with, he is professional, friendly and reliable and makes the job of moving house carefree and hassle free! Jack and Mick moved me in no time, delivered all packing boxes, tape and paper, handled everything with care, dissembled and re-assembled beds and made the truck look like a game of Tetris! For all future moves I will look no further than JWS Removals and cannot recommend this company enough!! Thanks Jack & Mick no doubt I will be in contact again in 12 months for another move!!

Blazenka Klaric

Jack and his team are amazing, with no task being too hard. They moved my extremely heavy marble slab dining table with great care. Disassembling it at pick up, wrapping it moving blankets, and then reassembled it at my new home. They take such care in moving your furniture that this is the second time I have used them. Thanks guys you are absolutely the best.

Alici Bennett

Jack is a powerhouse. I cannot thank him enough for making this move stress free at an incredibly stressful time in my life! He gets the job done is record time, to the highest standards, and the most friendly service ever! Cannot recommend highly enough

Ritchie Bullman

Highly recommend. Professional, friendly and careful with our belongings.

Hannah Hebdon

Unreal service. JWS is far beyond the service I’ve experienced in the past with similar companies. Communication was a standout and the job was done incredibly efficiently without dropping a beat in the service provided. Everything was handled with great care. We even got guidance on packing for future moves. Stoked to have found JWS, won’t have to worry about anything potentially getting ruined during a move again!

Nance

Jack and Michael were fantastic! Very professional, on time and communication was quick. They accommodated our change of date, with no hassle and looked after our furniture like it was their own. We were very impressed and will be recommending them. Jack also has some great design tips!

Justin Kruger

Couldn’t be happier that we found Jack to help my folks’ move into retirement living. He and Jason took the utmost care transporting a houseful of antique furniture and belongings across Canberra and they went above and beyond to make the move as stress free as possible. Jack knows his job inside and out, is efficient and hands on when move day comes and has great skill in layout and design which was an added bonus when trying to downsize after 35 years in a larger house! Both Jack and Jason were so thoughtful and entirely professional when it came to staging the move so that the schedule ran without any hassle. Highly recommend JWS Removals for an exceptional standard of service that is hard to find.

Lori Fowlie

JLW removals, best service in Canberra. Have booked Jack and his team for multiple moves, Jerrabomberra to Googong and again from Googong to Denman Prospect. I’ve been impressed with Jack and his team each time, so swift and efficient whilst handing your personal items with care. Jack is super friendly and helpful over the phone, able to get a clear sense of time and cost. Would highly recommend for any large or small moves and will absolutely contact the team again in future!

Dino Yau

Was recommended by a colleague to JWS Removals, very good service, especially from Jack. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely go to them again if I'm moving to Canberra again.

Ellie Jabra

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jack during my move and I cannot recommend him enough. Jack is a true professional who goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients are completely satisfied with his services. Throughout the entire process, Jack was incredibly responsive, attentive, and helpful. On the day of the move, Jack arrived on time and was well-prepared with all of the necessary equipment and supplies. He was careful with my belongings and took great care to ensure that everything was packed and loaded correctly. Overall, I highly recommend Jack to anyone who is planning a move. He will do everything he can to make sure that your move is a success. Thank you, Jack!"

Michelle Taylor

Jack and team were friendly and punctual with my sons recent move to Turner. Made the move easy with no stress. Would use JWS Removals again with no hesitation. Very happy.

James Warr

Can’t recommend JWS Removals enough! Jack and Dex were great. On time, efficient, personable and really took care of our furniture! Went the extra mile to move the fridge up some steep stairs and unruly pathways. The move couldn’t have gone any smoother. Will definitely go to them again if need be!

Ellie Keft

My boyfriend and I moved from Sydney to Canberra and decided to engage JWS Removals for the job. We had a good amount of gear, and Jack and his team handled it with ease, packing it all into the truck like a Tetris game. They were extremely responsive to every single request we had, and even accommodated some last-minute changes. Their quotes and invoicing were professional and timely, and they were easily contactable every single day. Such a great company to choose for your next move, and we'd highly recommend that you do!

Sharon

Jack and his crew worked so efficiently and took great care with my mother-in-law’s piano. They weren’t phased at all that they were only moving the piano across the road. JWS will be who I call for all future removals.

Liz Da Deppo

Jack was professional and 100% reliable. Came and did the job with a minimum of fuss therefore making our office move seamless. He will be our first call should we need to move again.

Madeline Woldhuis

Super happy and impressed by JWS Removals. Jack was lovely and honest to deal with through the whole process. We ended up with a 50m3 move and they did it in one day. High level care and detail. Highly recommend and wish I booked them at the beginning of the move as I will be booking them again when I need.

Vivian Chu

Absolutely amazing experience with JWS Removals! We had a LOT of belongings to move, but the two guys remained cheerful, friendly and incredibly efficient throughout the entire job. What impressed us most was that there were only TWO of them, yet they worked like a much bigger team! We honestly couldn’t believe how much they managed to get done with just two pairs of hands. They worked continuously and efficiently, while still taking great care with our belongings. From my past experience with removalists, I was prepared for the move to take much longer, but there was absolutely no dragging the job out. They worked at a great pace and finished so much faster than I had anticipated. Moving house is never easy, especially when you have as much stuff as we do, but they made the whole experience so much smoother and less stressful. Professional, hardworking, positive and genuinely lovely to deal with. An easy 5 stars from us. We are extremely happy with JWS Removals and would absolutely recommend them to anyone moving in Canberra. Amazing job, guys — thank you so much! ?????

Anton Harper

Personable communication, personalised service. I recommend Jack and his team for your move.

Geoff

I've moved a number of times recently with various removalists and JWS was by far the best experience out of the lot. Good, prompt communication in the lead up to the move, friendly and professional service service during the move, and great value for money. 100% recommend Jack and his team!

Rachel S

Jack and his team were absolute legends. We threw a pretty tough job at them — heavy furniture, awkward stairs, and a stinking hot Canberra day — but they handled it all with care, patience, and zero fuss. Every item was treated like it was their own, and they kept great energy the whole time. Hands down the best removalist experience I’ve had in Canberra. Extremely grateful to Jack and his team!

Phillipa Toms

Awesome service! Jack is very professional as was his offsider Matt, they were fast, on time and really nice guys. I highly recommend JWS Removals, I know if I ever have to move house again I will call them.

Lily and Kip

Jack and Lachlan were absolutely fantastic. Treated all our things with absolute care, communicated super clearly, and even had great chat! Having moved with national companies before, we would highly recommend JWS as a local business for your next move in the ACT.

Kaizen

Moving is one of those things that should be enjoyed. However, based on my observations and experiences, moving is something that rarely goes smoothly. Employing JWS Removals services breaks this pattern. Despite having been advised that their main (bigger) truck was out of order the morning our move was scheduled, and that we would require two trips (thirty minutes one way) instead of one, due to the smaller truck, our move was still completed in a very reasonable time. I must note that our household is quite well organized, and our ability to plan and prepare for any activity, particularly this move, greatly assisted both parties in ensuring the move completed as early as expected. So do not treat this review and think your laziness will be forgiven, it takes two to tango. Overall, our move went very smoothly and as planned. Jack and Deck are excellent removalist professionals who made this experience quite a pleasant one. Both are experts in this field, taking great care of all our belongings. No walls were damaged as they moved expertly throughout the houses, regardless of the size of the objects being moved. Most importantly, both carried a genuine and personable character with good interesting conversations, and plenty of laughs. It's a blessing, to be able to introduce this spirit into a new house. Thank you Jack and Decker for your services.

Rosalie Nikolai

Very pleasant and stress-free experience. Highly recommended. Friendly, polite and efficient. Could not have done our move without Jack and his team. We appreciate your hard work guys!

Jacqueline Roessgen

Jack Stafford and his company (JWS Removals Canberra) are by far the best removalists we have ever used — we cannot recommend them highly enough! Jack and his team went above and beyond in carefully moving our belongings, including a piano, antique furniture, and several large terracotta pots containing cherished citrus trees. He also repacked our items into a storage locker with absolute expertise. Jack was jovial, courteous, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We will most definitely be using Jack again for all future moves!

Olivia Argy

Hire JWS for your next move, you won’t find better. Jack is unlike any other removalist we’ve ever used. We booked him twice within the space of 6 months to move out and into storage and then into a new place, on both occasions his service was faultless. He treats all your belongings as if they were his own. He’s reliable, communicates well, is priced fairly and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for taking all the stress out of moving and being such a pleasure to deal with, Jack!

Lucy Close

We are so pleased we used Jack and his team for our recent move. Jack was very flexible and responsive at short notice and our entire move was seamless. We can highly recommend Jack and his team - they were fantastic!

Christian Davies

Used Jack and his team. Great attitude, great communication and did a great job. Worked until everything was delivered properly and to a high standard.

CW

I highly recommend Jack from JWS Removals. Jack was able to fit my son’s removal in at short notice. Jack was upfront on the price and is fully insured. Jack and Dex arrived on time and were very efficient, professional and friendly. They had covers to protect the furniture and tied it down appropriately to avoid damage. It was a joy working with Jack and you can’t say that often when moving house.

Tim Smyth

Couldn't recommend more highly. I was at the interstate receiving end. Fantastic service for both stages of the delivery. On time, friendly, careful and efficient. A pleasure to deal with.

Marsali Mackinnon

Jack Stafford & his trusty JWS Removals crew are the best removalists I've had in Canberra, ever. And I should know as I've had to move 4 times in 12 years. Very professional, friendly, and great value for money, they went the extra mile to make sure my furniture was well cared for during the move last month. I've already recommended them to a friend once, and will gladly do so again- they're the best choice in the ACT for removals.

Michael Kiely

Jack was very professional and took great care in moving the items. His very friendly manner made the moving a pleasant experience. I highly recommend his removal business.

Jojo

Wow! Jack and Dex exceeded all expectations - what an amazing service from start to finish. Jack's initial consultation was very professional and thorough, and he provided excellent advice about preparing and packing for a seamless experience on moving day. Jack and Dex took exceptional care with our belongings, including items of both financial and sentimental value. When we encountered challenges outside our control, Jack and the team were there to help and provided assistance over and above what anyone would expect from a moving service. Jack, you made moving day fun, we can't wait to move again with you next time:)

Michael Halloran

Jack and Mick did a great job moving our furniture from Florey to Palmerston. I highly recommend them and would definitely use again.

Lauren Evers

Really happy with JWS. Great communication, friendly guys, super quick loading the truck. Truly recommend

Kimmel Reid

I recently used JWS Removal services, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Jack and his team were efficient, professional, and incredibly friendly. From the moment they arrived, they handled everything with care and precision. The team worked quickly, ensuring that my belongings were safely packed and moved without any issues. They also took the time to carefully build a new bed for me and take unwanted things to the tip. Communication was top-notch, and Jack kept me updated every step of the way. Pricing was transparent and fair, especially for the high-quality service they provided. I highly recommend JWS Removal to anyone looking for a stress-free moving experience!

Zeya Khaing (Zeya and Khaing)

Jess Gehrig

Absolute please to have Jack move us! Jack was punctual and professional right from the first meeting. His care for our belongings was a huge relief, and he has made our moving day an easy process with nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend using Jack at JWS Removals!

Daniel Macumber

Highly recommend JWS Removals for anyone moving from Braddon to Kingston or anywhere in Canberra! The team was professional, punctual, and handled all our furniture with care. Their fixed-price quote made budgeting so easy, and there were no hidden surprises. From packing up in Braddon to setting up in Kingston, they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find removalists this reliable and friendly. If you’re looking for a great furniture removal service in Canberra, JWS Removals is the way to go!

Mark Taylor

Jack and Dex worked tirelessly all day and made it a smooth move despite 4 pickup/drop off points. Professional and personable …they completed the move with great care of my furniture. I approached JWS based on excellent reviews and can see why first hand. Much appreciated guys!

Tara OK

If I could add more stars, I absolutely would!! Do yourself a favour and don’t even bother looking further than JWS. From start to finish, Jack has been incredible — quoting for an office move at reasonably short notice with no price gouging, with a timely and comprehensive quote for such a great price (which made a huge difference for our small NFP organisation). Jack and Dex moved our office on Sunday and I have to say all the previous reviews make so much sense now and I’m incredibly grateful we found JWS to help us. The whole experience was seamless with the guys arriving on time, taking care to make sure our furniture was not damaged in any way (and raising any existing damage to confirm before loading), working consistently to load and unload everything within the time allocated. They disassembled and reassembled some difficult items with clear skill, and were just so unbelievably friendly and kind the whole time. Having moved many times over the course of my life, this was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a move and I will not be using anyone else for any future moves. Thanks so much Jack and Dex for all of your efforts and exemplary customer service that made a usually stressful experience actually quite pleasant ??

James F

Jack was super friendly, efficient, and a smooth operator. He was also reasonably priced. Felt good to support a local small business too, rather than one of the big machines. Would use him again.

Maria Jenckel

Jack has been an absolute legend. He and his team moved my belongings from one apartment to the next and were totally unfaced by challenging parking situations or slow lifts. I was so stressed that day but Jack handled everything with absolute care and at the end of the day I felt so relieved that everything was done. One shelf got damaged to no fault of his or his team but he insisted on fixing it right away although I assured him, I could deal with it later. He and his time just took very good care of all my belongings. He definitely made the most stressful day for me much better. I recommended him to my friend right away and lucky enough he had an opening to get her move done as well. I hope I don't have to move any time soon but if so, I'd definitely book with Jack again.

Ella Butler

Twenty stars! Jack and his team were exceptional - professional, considerate, fast. We appreciated Jack's focus on sustainable practices and he lent us a number of reusable crates so we didn't have to use so many cardboard boxes (he came over twice to drop these off to us before the move). On the day his team made moving so much less stressful for us even though they were clearly working hard in the middle of summer. Everything went smoothly, everything was perfect. Highly, highly recommend.

Hannah

Jack from JWS Removals is a godsend. I moved very recently (as in, the-weekend-just-gone recently), and I was recommended Jack and his team when another company I had approached were booked out. I couldn't be happier that this recommendation was made. Jack was responsive, flexible with timing (given how last minute my call was, and how often I was changing things at that point), and so, so careful with all of my things. He was also calm and approachable, and that is exactly what you need when you're going through the stress of moving. I will recommend him and his team to anyone who will listen to me, and no doubt when I have to move house again in the future, I will be picking up the phone and giving him a call. Thank you, Jack!

Daniel Layog

Moving from a 3 storey place was a piece of cake with Jack. Definitely the best!

Martin Gee

We were recommended Jack and his team by another removals company. They were great with communication, fair on their price, reliable, punctual and very efficient. Honestly this is the kind of service we all hope for but don’t always receive. I would happily recommend them if you’re looking for a move. Thanks Jack

Jenna Heffernan

Utilised JWS to move a large TV. Communication was great and service professional.

Brian O

The JWS crew are amazing. The care they demonstrated during my move in the Canberra Molonglo Valley was very reassuring. Nothing was too much trouble for Jack, and on a 36 degree day! My move was a complicated one too, with a trip to storage to swap some heavy items in/out. The price was very good for the effort involved. I could not have been happier with the service.

Gareth Williams

JWS came recommended and did not disappoint - very personable, hardworking and very easy to deal with.

Gabor Hajdu

Jack and his colleague did a fantastic job! Timely communication, quick and efficient job completed with the utmost care and professionalism. Would highly recommend!

James Wicks

Highly recommend JWS Removals as they go above and beyond to ensure your moving experience is seamless, instead of stressful. From the moment we contacted Jack, he went out of his way to be accommodating to our needs, was quick to respond to all our questions, provided informative advice and an extremely reasonable quote. The team were punctual, professional, organised, friendly, and above all, treated us and our possessions with care and respect. Jack even followed up after the move to ensure everything was in order and to make sure we were happy. Overall, excellent service, trustworthy and excellent price!

Brianna Lazzaro

I cannot fault JWS Remocals! Jack was lovely - responsive, prompt and competitively priced. On the day, they worked efficiently and were done well before I thought they would be. Jack even helped me un-plumb my fridge when I completely forgot about it, with tools and knowledge without hesitation. I can’t recommend them more if you’re looking for a removalist in Canberra and surrounds. ??

Lou

These guys deserve 10 stars. Nothing was a problem, their get up and go got us moving. Literally. Moving is awful, these guys made the experience a lot easier. They know what they are doing and their tetris game is strong!!! Definitely recommend.

ViRion5

Highly recommended team! They did our transfer last 19 May from Phillip to Tralee. They were punctual, very professional, quick and our stuffs were safe from loading to unloading. Reasonably priced as well!

Lauren H

Jack did an excellent job with our recent move. Everything was moved quickly and carefully (including up 2 flights of narrow stairs). He took all the stress out of our moving day, would highly recommend

Meg Marie

I would highly recommend JWS Removals to anyone in Canberra. Jack had great communication in the lead up to the move, and was incredibly friendly and professional on the day.

Greg Cadman

Excellent service fully professional. I aoppreciate the way they handled our goods - no breakages. Very flexible, met all our requests with a nice attitude. Worked hard and with a cheerful disposition. Highly recommended.

If you are ever in need of a removalist I suggest you use JWS Removals. Jack was the easiest person to deal with in moving my furniture to my new home. Hassle free and he goes out of his way to ensure everything goes smoothly and made the move stress free for me. He has also moved other members of my family and he is highly recommended by us.

Using JWS was such an excellent choice of ours. It started when I was looking for pricing: Jack communicated effectively, and started with their WHS and insurance details, then told us how they would do the move. Their prices were competitive - so they were the obvious choice. Straight away the benefits started: a week before the move Jack then dropped off about 30 plastic tubs, avoiding all of that issue of looking for cardboard boxes, and then disposing of them afterwards. On the move day Jack even disclosed that they have had the boxes made from recycled plastics - environment excellence everywhere, I'm surprised in hindsight that all removalists don't do this. The move itself was smooth, effective and quick. They carefully loaded our furniture, and unloaded at the other end. They showed extra care (above and beyond expectation) for our furniture and houses aat both ends. And to top it all off, they were excellent to talk to - about a wide variety of topics. I suggest you ask open questions - you'll be surprised at the answer you get from Jack (and Dex). We highly recommend them.
