Moving house is never an easy or smooth experience, but Movers Choice sure made it feel that way. We had to move house in two steps: from our current house into storage, and three days later from storage into our new place. Lucas and Anna were super friendly, easy to deal with and honest with their assessment of our needs for the move. James and Oliver were our removalists for the first move. They were punctual, efficient and very careful with moving our stuff into storage. No time was wasted and they got the move done well ahead of what I had anticipated. Lucas and Billy were our removalists for the move from storage into our new place. They too were on time, efficient, good fun to chat with and handled all our belongings with care. Again, they finished the move quickly which allowed us to settle in sooner than we had expected. Anna and Lucas kept in touch with me throughout the process and I never felt as though I had to do any of the "heavy lifting" to organise or do the move myself. Great customer service, super efficient, great people and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of moving house.

I called up to advise that I am moving at a certain date 19th where it was confirmed that there's still a truck available. However, I was then advised that a lower rate is available for the next day. I agreed and said I will confirm the next day if I could book my building lift. The following morning, Movers Choice called me to confirm if I still would like the 19th or the 20th. I have advised I can't do the 20th as there are no lift booking. They said they will book me in for the original agreed date. I then asked for a confirmation email after the day of the call as I did not receive anything. After following up, I was then advised that there are no more availability. I feel like this is very unprofessional on their side as now I have to look for someone available to do the move.

Such a great experience moving out of our old 2 story apartment block with very challenging access. Had found the move in with another company absolutely harrowing (late, complained vociferously the whole time, came in 3x the quoted amount). So spent longer looking around for a better service. Will never use any other movers now - these guys are the way to go. Movers choice were completely unfazed by the access issues and planned ahead. As a result, we finished ahead of schedule and under the anticipated quote. All the while the guys were lovely, very careful with our stuff, and made an effort to get all the right boxes into the right rooms at the new destination. It was a completely different experience to not feel stressed on moving day - actually cannot fathom how good it was. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

As so many of us do, my partner and I were dreading our upcoming move after previous horrible experiences with cheap and nasty movers. We got a lot of quotes from various premium, full-service moving companies and in the end decided to go with Movers Choice & Co because of their excellent reviews and very competitive pricing. What a fantastic decision that ended up being! Tom, Jayden, and Lucas were a dream to work with. They were communicative, punctual, and got straight to work packing up our place. But above all, they all had fantastic attitudes in the face of what could've been a disaster of a day. Torrential rain? No problem. Access to the new place unexpectedly blocked off by emergency power works? Spoke with the work crew and negotiated an hour to unload the truck. In the end, given the challenges we faced, we couldn't get the move done on Friday, but credit to Movers Choice & Co, they immediately booked in a crew to come finish things off on Sunday and generously offered to hold their weekday rates for the Sunday move. Sunday rolled around and Tom was back, this time with Oliver, and everything ran like clockwork with the second part of our move done by lunchtime. (Which included carrying some very heavy furniture and pot plants up three flights of stairs!) My partner and I are both very grateful to Movers Choice & Co for making what could have been a terrible moving experience as smooth as possible. We will absolutely be going back to them for our next move, and couldn't reccomend them highly enough!

On moving day Oliver, Lewis and Jaz was very professional and friendly throughout the day, not once during the day did I notice any negativity even though they must have been exhausted, as it was a very difficult move as both houses have VERY steep driveways and a lot of stairs. The entire team is professional, communicative, and truly proactive. From the start, we had helpful check-ins and follow-ups from Damien. Shoutout to Johnny & Lewis for a great experience on our moving day. They were friendly, efficient, and respectful. It was a rainy day and we noticed they scrubbed their shoes dry/clean on the mats before walking in, and never once did they bump any furniture into walls despite tricky corners. I've worked with several movers before, and this is the only team that checked every single box from end-to-end. Great business, and evidently a great team culture too. Highly highly recommend Clear communication from first booking, to clarification around what needed to be moved (including advice on how to correctly pack fragile items), to very graciously shifting the original booking back 24 hours at late notice, to clear text messages around arrival time.
