I called up to advise that I am moving at a certain date 19th where it was confirmed that there's still a truck available. However, I was then advised that a lower rate is available for the next day. I agreed and said I will confirm the next day if I could book my building lift. The following morning, Movers Choice called me to confirm if I still would like the 19th or the 20th. I have advised I can't do the 20th as there are no lift booking. They said they will book me in for the original agreed date. I then asked for a confirmation email after the day of the call as I did not receive anything. After following up, I was then advised that there are no more availability. I feel like this is very unprofessional on their side as now I have to look for someone available to do the move.

Tom and Seb were superhumans yesterday helping our family move from our double storey Abbotsford townhouse. The lift up to the townhouses unexpectedly stopped working partway through the move due to a blackout in the complex and the continued power outage meant many many more stairs and treks up and down in pitch blackness to carry our very heavy remaining furniture down to the truck. The hard work and effort that Tom and Seb put in as they powered through the move without complaint all day was incredible. They were lovely, professional and courteous in every moment and after a very long day even made a second trip back to Abbotsford to do another run. Amazing from two of the nicest blokes.
