There were some stressors with this move, but No Limits removalists put a lot of effort into rectifying all issues in the end. The movers, Wassim and his colleague, were fantastic throughout the process and Sara was exceptional to help with sorting all problems that occured along the way! Moving is difficult, so we can't really ask for much more than a dedicated and compassionate company. Pros - Good price quoted - The truck was on time - The movers did their absolute best and were working very hard - All conversation (when we were able to reach someone) were courteous and accommodating - Our things (including piano) did arrive at the new location and we encountered manageable damages/losses Cons that are good to know up front - At times poor communication between team members - No liftgate to load/unload heavy items (piano) - Multiple phone numbers and difficulty to speak with anyone in charge - Small fee to deliver free boxes is $70 (didnt affect us, but good to know up front) - If bubble wrapping was required, additional charge is $50 per item - Mattresses were not shrink wrapped and arrived deformed and dirty We have very recently moved interstate and I contacted and reviewed 16 companies trying to make sure we picked the right one for our needs and budget. No limits removalists were one of our top choices, but dropped off the list after they showed up for the site visit on the wrong day. Sam was very good convincing us that their service would be at least equivalent to the company I already had hired and did provide a quote that was approximately $600 cheaper for the complete inventory taking during the site visit. The truck arriving early morning on moving day did not have a liftgate, which made the loading and unloading of heavy items extremely difficult for the movers. Wassim and his colleague had not been told that the move involved a piano, but did their best to navigate the situation under the circumstances. They initially indicated that there would be an extra charge for the piano, and we were unable to contact Sam to verify. To the companys credit, I did receive a call around 7pm that day from the assistant confirming that there would not be any extra charge. Although this was an additional stressor, I appreciated the cooperation and quick rectification of the situation. The piano, which was loaded last and secured behind our entire load!, unfortunately moved during the transport and crushed a laundry cabinet. Wassim was very insistent in compensating us for this damage as he indicated this was due to his mistake. Luckily it was a very cheap, small cabinet, so I agreed to accept half of the price and admire his integrity. Unpacking was a bit stressful as due to language barriers and stress, the moving team was unable to utilise the carefully places labels and floorplans (both written out and colour coded) and had difficulty to unload items in the designated spaces. To make it easier on everyone and acknowledge the hard work put in, we forgave all the small things including scrapes on the bottom of the piano, marks on the mattresses, which werent wrapped at all, and holes in one of the bar stools, which unfortunately got crushed by something else. We did inform the No Limits Removalists, however, that our 55 inch flat screen TV did not work after it was reconnected and sent pictures of the damage to the screen. Due to some unexpected circumstances there was a little delay, but No LImits Removalists took full responsibility and compensated us for the damage beyond our expectation. In summary, none of the events were detrimental and while they added stress to a for us already quite difficult move, No Limits Removalists put a lot of effort to ensure it got all sorted. Most importantly, we are settled into our new home with all of our belonging, including the treasured piano! Thank you No Limits Removalists!!!
