Great service. The lads were super helpful. We had a 6hour move and they didnt rest for a minute. 10/10 experience.
Carina was an absolute gem. Help me out with my move as well as my problems and concerns throughout the process. Absolutely killer worker you guys have in your team
Prompt responses with all inquiries. They really did everything they could to make the moving experiences as seamless as possible. The office and the removalists were both extremely helpful.
Muval organised a removalist for me at a price I could afford. They put me in contact with the people at both ends and from my perspective everything went well. I had several items of furniture and lots of boxes which I packed myself. My go...
Jay was super helpful. Process was easy and the movers were great
Great to deal with. Its hard when moving to choose the right provider but Muval did their best they could for us
My husband and I moved from Victoria to Queensland in early December. We called Muval because it was our first big move - the last time, all of my worldly possessions fit in the back of my hatchback - and Alec was extremely helpful and pati...
I had an excellent experience with Muval and great service from Bree. They were professional, flexible, and well priced. They were punctual and polite and outperformed other removalists who I have used. Thanks!
They arranged removalists to cart my stuff from Sydney to the Central Coast. The whole process was quick and efficient and good value for money.
Mitchell was great, he made my move seamless. He followed up with me and communicated well, and genuinely made the entire process of moving house not stressful at all. Cant rate the service highly enough !
LJ made the booking process very easy and she made sure to take regular follow ups. The quotation process was through before giving me the estimate. Thanks
I had to move a single piece of furniture from Sydney to Brisbane. Too big for a courier, & too small to justify a full house removalist service. The folk at muval found a transporter; Alec was able to guide me through the process (includin...
He was very accomodating and big help for me. He is 100 % recommended.
Great to work with. Kept me very well informed. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
LJ (Muval) was very helpful! She was very consistent in following up and giving options for our move. Excellent service!
Grant from Moval was brilliant, he was so fast at getting us a list of movers to choose from for our move between Brisbane and Perth. He handled all the communication and made the whole interstate move stress free. The movers themselves arr...

If you have booked the shared truck option, then yes. If you have booked a premium option, then you will not be sharing the truck.
When quoting on your job, we provide the name and reviews of the company that matches your inquiry. Although we vet every company on our system, we encourage you to do your own due dilligence on the company you choose.
If you need to change the delivery or pick up date, please advise the removalist as early as possible. They can sometimes accommodate changes and reschedule but this has a few variables.
This can be organised but will incur an extra charge.
Yes, absolutely. Please mention this at the time of booking, as it may make a difference to the provider we match you with.
Some companies will have storage at the destination and some at the pickup. Some even include complimentary storage!
Reading reviews is a great way to determine if a removalist is the right one for you. Platforms like Google, Product Review or Muval are great for this because they have built-in mechanisms to ensure reviews are from genuine people that have actually interacted with that business.
However, we advise to be cautions of moving companies with hundres of reviews and a perfect 5 star rating on these platforms as reviews unfortunately can be faked. Don't get us wrong: honest companies with a perfect 5 star rating do exist and they are excellent (we have a few on our platform!). But, given the nature of furniture removalist work, something, at some point, is bound to go wrong. Maybe the truck breaks down and is late for a job. Maybe someone accidentally trips and some items in a box are damaged. Whatever it is, accidents unfortunately do happen and these sorts of occassions rarely attract a 5 star rating.
Because of this, companies with a 4.5 or above rating are often just as good as a company with a perfect 5. So, we suggest, instead of looking for all 5-star reviews, take a look at a companies worst reviews and pay special attention to how they responded to the issue. Were they sympathetic? Did they respond promptly? Did they offer a resolution? Were they contactable for the customer to voice their concerns? These are the sorts of things that separate the best removalists from those who don't deliver a high level of service.
Read more about how to avoid dodgy removalists here.
Yes. This varies depends on which company you are using. Usually, the minimum charge is based on the cost of transporting 5 cubic metres.
The best way to ensure a successful move day is to be prepared. One way to do this is to notify your removalist about any very heavy or awkward-to-move items before move day. It can never hurt to double-check with them that they understand that you have these items, even if you have also submitted an inventory list. These sorts of items include:
- Grand / Baby grand piano
- Pizza oven
- Concrete furniture
- Pool / snooker tables (particularly slate)
- Many pot plants / large pot plants
