Yes, it can, as long as you notify us before booking your move.
The best way to ensure a successful move day is to be prepared. One way to do this is to notify your removalist about any very heavy or awkward-to-move items before move day. It can never hurt to double-check with them that they understand that you have these items, even if you have also submitted an inventory list. These sorts of items include:
- Grand / Baby grand piano
- Pizza oven
- Concrete furniture
- Pool / snooker tables (particularly slate)
- Many pot plants / large pot plants

Packing and unpacking boxes for your house is not usually included by default when you book a removalist. In our experience, people always dramatically under estimate the time it takes to pack their house, and it's usually one of the most burdensome tasks of moving! All furniture items will be wrapped in heavy removalist quilted padding to best protect your furniture; Some removalists will also use shrink wrap as well.
We encourage bookings ASAP, and this will hold the price, reserve the space, and give you peace of mind. This can also mean you avoid any future price rise.
If you have the original TV box, please use it. You can also purchase TV storage/removal boxes from storage centres. If you don’t have a box and can’t source one, the removalist will use heavy-duty blankets to protect the TV.
