I was put on to Fran & Andrew at Leader Removals by my sister who had a very positive experience with them when relocating from Canberra to the Gold Coast. I had purchased a brand new fridge online from a supplier in Queensland and due to the Covid pandemic, the supplier was unable to deliver from Queensland to Melbourne. Enter Leader Removals- even though only a single item, they were able to collect the fridge and store it in their warehouse in Canberra for me, until such time as it was safe and practical to deliver down to Melbourne. From the first contact, Fran and Andrew were very helpful and their communication was great during co-ordination of pick-ups and deliveries. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leader Removals for either a major move, as was my sister's, or a small transportation job, as was mine, and will absolutely call them straight away if ever we have need for this type of service again. Efficient, professional, friendly, dependable-you really feel looked after, and all delivered with a sense of humour (thanks Andrew!) We used Leader to move from an apartment in Dickson to a townhouse in Watson. The guys who turned up were great, they had all the gear they needed, helped disconnect our washing machine and even levelled our fridge in the new place (after spending a lot time figuring out how to actually get it in the kitchen space!) I was moving interstate and After contacting multiple removal companies in the ACT leaders were the only company that got back to me with a response same day. They provided a quote within a few days and the quote was cheaper then anything else I found. (Other companies gave me quotes but it was difficult and communication was poor) They kept me updated on all changes. They picked up my items and delivered Interstate within a few days. When planning our recent move from the ACT to Queensland we sought feedback from friends who had moved house recently, and Leader Removals was highly recommended. Right from the start we could see that Andrew and Fran at Leader were genuine, professional and honest family business operators. Ours was quite a complicated move as our requirements kept changing. During the process we decided to store and then transport some of our items because our son was moving to Melbourne. At the time we couldn't even anticipate when they would be required in Melbourne. It was absolutely no problem. Anything that came up at the last minute was dealt with in a 'no problem' way. Then we decided to take more things than were quoted originally. Again, no problem with that. At the last minute we decided to transport a car to Queensland. Again, it was absolutely no trouble making adjustments. We've moved houses a number of times in the past and this was by far the best removal company we have ever used. Both the crew working with Andrew in Canberra and then the one delivering our furniture on the Gold Coast was great and totally professional. Our houseful of furniture was loaded up in Canberra on Monday and delivered in Queensland at 8 am on Wednesday. Amazingly, not one item was damaged or scratched. And the same with the car! Andrew and Fran, we cannot recommend your company more highly. Thank you for making our move as stress-free as possible !

From the initial quote being super efficient, to professional advice on preparing the move, to preparation the day before, had been above my expectations. The moving day was just smooth and gone above and beyond. The guys show up on time, parked at a good spot and put signs up to warn people, as they will cross the bike path. They handled all my belongings with care as if that's their own. Wrap it, place it properly. They have proper equipment to handle everything so they don't injure themselves, I could tell the company had been looking after the team very well. Then at the new place, they asked my new neighbours if their truck can blocked their garage for a bit. They asked where to put everything, and afterwards asked me to have another look to see if they need to move anything. Awesome service - above and beyond! Leaders removals are absolutely the best movers we have ever had! Friendly, polite, helpful and fast thinking. Moving always happens at a time of change in ones life, but we had some stressful last-minute changes that the team coped with amazingly. The apartment we were to move into fell through the week before, so Fran organised for everything to be carefully removed into one of Leaders containers and stored, but then work gave me one weeks notice that I was to be posted overseas for four months. We knew which numbered boxes we needed to get our next seasons clothes. Andrew was awesome! he problem solved and was able to speedily retrieve what we needed. It would have been disastrous for us if Leaders hadnt made it smooth from their end, by staying calm and coming up with workable solutions. Fantastic service - above and beyond! I stupidly made arrangements with another company for my removals from Canberra to Melbourne. I have given 3 stars, the actual removalists, Oscar and Robbie, were amazing, and my initial quote was appr $1, 480 it actually turned out to be $980 for an inventory and $300 for storage ($1280), which was also amazing. When I needed my furniture taken out of storage, less than 3 weeks later and transported 166 klms away, the price was over $2,000 after a discount for not using the storage for long. I was stunned and said so at the time, but they had my furntiture so I had no choice. I was very surprised as a friend recently had the same service with another carrier and it cost her $945. I do appreciate that my items were sent the same week, which I was grateful for. I could not attend the delivery, but the driver and I spoke twice. I asked for all heavy items and all boxes to come into the house. I even left lists on each door. Unfortunatley, most of the items are still in the garage, even really heavy ones. I am over 61 and live alone and cannot bring the items in, so now I have to hire someone to come and help me take everything inside. I would possibly use them again, but next time would get a relocation quote in advance and make sure that my things were put in the house, not left in the garage. Thank you for the jobs you did well.
