Although we had a slight delay with the settlement of our house not caused by Bart, Bart was very understanding and went above and beyond to get us settled into our new house without any complaints. We engaged Eastern State Removals to relocate us recently. We were so impressed with Bart & John. They worked so very hard to have us loaded from one address and unloaded to the new address all in the same day. They were very professional and took extreme care in handling our belongings. Not one scratch or mark as they moved the furniture from the house and not one thing damaged in the entire process. The new location is an apartment and required them to use an elevator to which they had to trolley everything from the facility car park. Some of the items were quite large and heavy. It was also a very hot and humid day and despite that, they toiled away without complaint and taking very few breaks. Would I recommend them to others? Absolutely, I would. Exceptional service, from an exceptional team (Bart and Liam) were polite, patient, considerate and respectful. We hired eastern state removals to help us move our 2 bed room house from newcastle to sydney and couldnt have been happier with the experience. The boys where so helpfull and friendly i was very impressed with how meticulous they where when it came to wraping and pack our furniture into the truck. We had so much more then i thought we did but they managed to squeeze it all in for 1 load. Definitely would use them again but hopefully we're not moving again any time soon, too stressful. I cant recommend Bart and his team highly enough. Communication from the beginning was terrific, they turned up on time, discussed the job at hand and started immediately. They were very aware we were paying by the hour and they didnt waste a second the entire day. We moved large furniture from two houses in one day without any breakages, scratches or dints to either the furniture or the homes. Barts team and truck are presented professionally. We needed a single item moved from Newcastle to the Gold Coast. Most online enquires we submitted either didnt reply or had huge minimum charges (double Barts price). Bart called up straight away, was leaving Sydney and could drop into Newcastle within an hour or two. Collected the mattress, covered and secured it and it arrived clean and on time to the Gold Coast. Bart called after pick up, again with an update on time during the trip and finally 30 minutes before arrival. 5 stars all the way and a great guy to boot. Highly recommended. Thanks again Bart.

Would recommend these guys, commication was fantastic, they made sure we were happy & nothing else we needed before they left. slow, but saying that we had a LOT of fragile stuff n he packed it WELL! No breakages. No scuffs all perfect. My husband was helping too so they could probably do with a 3rd man All in all, good job, guys

Cancelled 11 hours before the move with a text at almost 10pm. Luckily I heard my phone vibrate as I was drifting off to sleep or I would have woken up to no moving truck. Apparently they wont move you if it is raining I had to scramble to find a rental truck online in the middle of the night, as I know for a fact I would not have been able to find and hire removalists the day of the move! So my almost 70 year old mother with a bad back and knee, my 5ft 45kg 17 year old daughter, my 10 year old son, and myself had to move ourselves, not to mention my mum and daughter having to take the day off their jobs to help me, as bond and carpet cleaners had been booked months in advance for the next day! I have never been so angry or disappointed in a service in my entire life! One of the most stressful times in ones life is moving, and this made the whole experience 100x worse! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
